I was working, taking care of my son as well as going to school. It is not as hard as these girls put it out to be they just aren't trying hard enough these days. I am very proud of my self because I decided to further my education and make something of myself. I am ready to make this big change and step in my life and make my family proud of
I will be able to have an occupation that I thoroughly enjoy and at the same time will be able to afford a decent living for my children and myself. For me to complete my degree at this point in my life is very important. I feel that getting the opportunity to go back to school at my age is actually giving me a second chance to make something of myself. I think my children will see how hard I am working to achieve this certification and it will give them the desire to get a degree as well. I do not want them to struggle as I have these past

Even though education is a primary key to improve the quality of life of an Alzheimer’s patient, I strongly believe a little fun could go a long way. A day for the caregiver and patient to unload their worries and struggles would not only relieve stress; but get them to appreciate another day of life for their loved one with the disease. I believe even though there isn’t a cure yet for this disease love, care, and hope will motivate the patient to keep fighting and embrace all aspects of their lives. Organization: Because this is a big project I would combine my ideas with the Alzheimer’s Association. The Alzheimer’s Association is a program that provides education to patients, caregivers, professionals, and community members who are affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
I knew before returning to school that it would be hard to accomplish everything but somehow I will find the time to be a great mother as well as a good student. I live paycheck to paycheck to paycheck and I want more for my children and myself. By returning to school, I am able to show my children that it is never too late to go after your dreams. The only thing stopping you is yourself. I want to be an example for my children, so they will see how important a college education is.
They have both worked hard to be able to give me and my sister a better life. With their hard work and dedication, they have achieved so much in life and have made it possible for our family to live comfortably. I plan on going to collage to better educate myself, so that one day I may give my family the same. The “American Dream” is still alive today. It has changed over time from the first settlers moving west to find better land, to today the desire of a better education that will ultimately lead to a career and the ability to provide for your family through hard work and prosper in

Activity Matrix: [pic] The Activity Matrix is one of the things that I have found beneficial from the course and use on a daily/weekly routine. Planning is the key. I start by deciding what is Urgent and what is Important for the day/week/month then prioritise my list, I then start to put this into action and it has helps me understand which objectives are urgent and important, such as compiling daily report written on each audit completed. I understand the Importance of keeping the lists to a manageable length so that I don’t get overwhelmed.
He called this personality-type theory. The theory states that people feel that their job or profession is fulfilling if there is a match between some important features of their work and their personality (Holland 2002). I believe I will be successful because I will love what I do. Despite my past or anything in between I know I will be a person that helps others. Even if it’s just a little piece of the puzzle I provide I will have helped in some way give a family the closure they will need when they are in need of comfort.
I began to love me and know that I am wonderful being who I am and most of all being real with myself. My experience has taught me that becoming an effective counselor; you will make some decisions that are good and not so good all in the desire to help others. At this stage of my career and with the help of my educational journey I have learned and still learning to first nurture myself and use techniques along with tools to met the participants where he or she is at.
