By identifying the ethical issues, I was able to focus on the effects of the decision I had to make. I had to consider all the stakeholders. Stakeholders being those directly involved and affected in the situation. In both situations the stakeholders were very similar with a slight difference based on the legality of the situation. Knowing whom the stakeholders was I had to actively think of the consequence it will have on them based on my decision.
