Character Counts... even in chemistry Character. What is it? What makes it important? What character traits do I excel at, and what traits need improvement? Character is broken up into many parts that helps define people on how well they contribute in society, and how good of a person we are all together. Without good character the world around us will cease to exist. People would just stop caring and everything would just never work or develop. Due to the good character of others around us the world can keep turning. In chemistry class it is essential to have good character because without it people would not be responsible to get their work done. There would be a lack of supplies due to the lack of respect for equipment. People would get hurt because they would not care for their own safety or the safety of others. It is good to become aware of the traits you do well at and the ones you don't do so well at, so we can grow as people, class, and community. Due to the lack of character in some people can cause punishment to others around them. Such as if people don’t pick up after themselves other people will have to do it for them. Or if someone hurts another person there has to be someone to heal them. Those other people that actually pick up after them selves and others, as well as the people who help others when someone has hurt them know true character. First off the character trait I excel at in chemistry is caring. Taking the extra precaution and time to make sure you and everyone in a lab can proceed safely. To make sure everyone is doing their part and getting stuff done and done right is also important. Caring that the assignment is done well and that you'll get a good grade has always been important to me. Going into a class that may be difficult to some people you must care otherwise you won't do well. If you don't go into the class without a
