If properly executed with an actual resister, pulling this lever can positively influence adoption of the initiative by the resister and his or her friends. We highly believe not to do this decision because we tried two times in the first round and received the unsatisfied result that the person confronted as a resister was upset and unconvinced by our discussion. Moreover, we have lost credibility and now some employees are less enthusiastic about the change initiative. From the private interview to town hall meeting, we are building our personal power or personal fascination in the corporation so that every colleague knows this figure. To be a top manager, the conceptual and technical skills are essential, but we could not ignore the importance of human skills. In this simulation, we learnt the rudimentary of human skills in the corporation to lead, communicate, coordinate and control the behavior of other individuals. We also learnt that a high need for power is especially importance to a manager, to build the credibility in the corporation and hold a high power. We could do the decision like hold town hall meetings, build a coalition of support and clarify organizational value. And to be a good leader, we need to build relationships with others, concerned developing good relationships with subordinates and being liked by them, focusing on high-quality interpersonal relationships with subordinates, says relationship-orientated leader. Furthermore, from the relationship web, we find that if a subordinate is the friend of other subordinate, then we could influence that subordinate indirectly which become easier when contacting him.
