In my report I have outlined subjects that were brought to my attention by Ryan, and Ann. The Chern’s organization they have a rich culture that beliefs that when you hire good people you get good workers. The above transition analysis shows that you will have a deficit of 80 full-time sales associates. This also takes into account for all the people moving positions and leaving the company. To break this down: * In order to acquire the proper number of new hires, they will need to have 1,778 people apply for the job. * Then about 30 % of applicants will become job candidates. * Take that number down to 533. * From 533 only 15 % will be offered a position at Chern’s. * Leaving 80 applicants of those 75 % will accept the position * That will leave only 60 candidates to fill vacancies. According to O*Net retail salesperson is expected to grow nationwide but also in Pennsylvania. It’s expected to grow 8 % nationwide and only 2 % in PA. Although growth isn’t expected to be as high, the wages within the state exceed the overall wage throughout PA will receive $ 0.30 more per hour.
