I would love to have the opportunity to graduate from nursing, because I have a strong desire to help people and make a difference in the quality of their lives every day. What is also noteworthy about nursing is that there is no another job as rewarding as being a nurse. Each day I will have an impact on patients´ lives, and have the opportunity to save someone´s life. I think there is no reward greater than that. Searching in different schools, I found that this program has a bunch of resources not only solid basics of nursing theory , but also nursing practice as well as clinical experience that will give me the opportunity of been successful in different practice situations.

Flexibility is necessary because in the medical field you have to be able to accept changes and adapt to them with relative ease. I believe that the skills I already have are good for success in college and success in life. The skills I don’t have are the ones that would be best used in my future career, and could be useful in college and
But my main goal is to broaden my horizon beyond the technical world, unlock career aspirations otherwise blocked, and enhance problem-solving and decision-making skills which lead me to do some excellent research base work in future. After completing my degree program online at Ashford University I plan to continue with online classes at Auburn University. I have learned to graciously take advantage of the academic assistance Auburn University offers. Supplemental Instruction, SI, has become a Heaven-sent for my history grade. Having a graduate student, who has previously taken and aced the class, review with you is more than helpful. Study Partners is also a resource that I plan on taking full advantage of. Being a college student on a budget has taught me to take advantage of anything free, one of these things being the services Auburn University offers.
I have chosen Walden University due to the flexibility that will allow me to continue to work and ultimately achieve my goal. Walden is a one stop university that will allow me to complete my goal and stay at one place. My advanced education will allow me to understand the nursing process and advanced theory of nursing. I hope to ultimately own my own clinic and work there as a nurse practitioner until my retirement. It was a lengthy process of searching online and talking to multiple university advisors to locate which universities were rated top ten.
If someone wanted to go into the health field there are certain classes that are called pre- requisites, which they would have to take even before starting into the health field. This is a learning spiral, the growth of information, knowledge, and skills stored in someone’s brain for future references or learning. The learning spiral to start in the health field would be to take classes related to it like Intro to Computers, English 91, and Psychology 110.
