However, if you happen to be a sea bound scoundrel or just a plain ol' adventurer your interest may be peaked by seeing the first lighthouse that was built in America. Being the first government project, Cape Henry is situated on a navel base in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Though it is no longer used as the official lighthouse on base, it draws many tourists and allows you to go to the very top. Max Dupain Bondi 1939 Max Dupain is one of Australia’s most renowned modernist photographers that has ever stepped foot on this planet. He was born in Sydney 1911 and lived there all his life. Dupain received his first camera as a gift in 1924, which spurred his interest in photography. Dupain took various images, all in black and white. Although he died in 1992, his inspiration of photography stuck with him until his death.

Based on the introduction from the Norwich official website, the most public landing built at the head of the Thames River has provided an important harbor since the 17th century and it was initially an agricultural community. Historically, the area supported farms and businesses, residents also built a public landing for easier trade at the head of the Thames River. In the last ten years, the population has been changed significantly. Lots of people move to the town from urban areas or cities.
Here there are many historical sites and shops along with much charm that stemmed from the local history. This city has grown from a stop in the 1845 railroad track to a progressive city with over 10,000 people according to a 2000 census. The shops, businesses, and restaurants in Olde Town keep the area full of life while preserving its vivid history. The Conyers Depot is definitely one of the favorite tourist attractions in Olde Town. The Depot was a working station until 1972, when passenger rail service between Atlanta and Augusta was stopped.
