The difference between the private and the public sector the private sector is the part of the economy operated by private individuals or privately owned companies, while the public sector is the part of the economy that can be bought by anyone. 5. Explain the two main types of legal structures. What are the differences between them? The two main types of legal structures are incorporated and unincorporated. The difference between these is that organisations that are in corporate are officially registered as a company, and those that are incorporate can be set up as a private company, or trust cooperative.
