But what he didn’t know was what I would take to make it big As griffon got a little older he moved to different places. But he never stopped playing. He moved to a place where he found other kids with musical talents. They decided to start a band, griffon was the drummer. They were one step closer to making it to the top By the time griffon got into high school he decided that he needed to take some designated classes, one which would help him find a career.
Grupo Duelo played many of their romantic and greatest hits of their career. Some of the songs that Grupo Duelo played were “Te Odio y Te Amo,” “Pobre Loco,” and “El Amor No Acaba.” Most of the songs made the audience cheer and sing along with Grupo Duelo as they were performing. The audience was so fascinated by the group that they constaly asked them to sing another song after they had finish with their performance. I really like Grupo Duelo’s songs since the rhythm and beats sounded awesome that they make a person like me to sing along and
Antonio Edwards Presbyterian College Admission Essay 03/10/09 My Influence My life has been filled with extreme excitement. There were highly spiritual times at church, crazy jam sessions, and times that I felt songs pinched my heart. You see, music has become my first love. From the beats, pops, degree of difficulty, and variety of artists, there was love at the first sound of music. I will never forget the day that I saw my inspiration show me how to perform music with a distinct feel, style, and flavor.
Overall I thought the performance was great. I really enjoyed how much time they put into each part of the performance. You really could see how much time and effort they put into the songs and constructing it to make a great concert. I will come back again and see them next
“Greatest Hits” by Bruce Springsteen Bruce Springsteen was born in Freehold, New Jersey on September 23rd, 1949. Having a fond interest in the music world, Springsteen, began learning how to play the guitar in his high school years. He developed his skill as a guitarist and eventually became what he is today. Bruce was a quick learner and because of this success he joined quite a few bands in his early days. First, he joined semi-professional bands such as “The Castiles” and “Steel Mill,” but he wanted to start his own band and write his own songs.
After moving to San Diego in the summer of 1992, Mark Hoppus was reunited with his sister Anne, to whom he expressed his desire to be in a band. Anne attended Rancho Bernardo High School, where she became friends with new student Tom DeLonge who had been previously expelled from Poway High School for showing up drunk at a basketball game. DeLonge often expressed the desire to be in a band as well, so in August 1992 Anne introduced him to her brother Mark Hoppus. [1] The two played for hours in DeLonge's garage, showing each other songs they had previously written, and writing new songs together – one of which would become the track "Carousel". [1] To impress DeLonge, Hoppus climbed to the top of a streetlight outside of DeLonge's home – however, he cracked both heels on the landing, resulting in being in crutches for the next few weeks.
Son House was an African-american blues artist who was a considerably a guitar virtuoso. When Johnson moved to Robinsonville in search of his biological father he spent much of his time practicing his string skill. Later down the road, Robert returned to Hazelhurt and impressed many people with his incredible advancements. Johnson inherited much of House's guitar style. Many could have the audacity to say that this is the rising action to his legendary career.
When he was fourteen, he received a guitar from his friend that was found in a dumpster. Tom soon met up with Mark Hoppus, who played the bass guitar and they formed a band called blink along with drummer Scott Raynor. The band began to grow in size and secure a fan base of skaters in California (“Blink” 1). Tom Delonge has inspired kids ,battled Cancer with his own two hands,
Once there he quickly became the man of music. Everyone wanted to study ,write, and compose with him artist like Aretha Franklin. Donny recognized his ability and was up for the challenge. So in his sophomore he left Howard For NYC. Once there he went on to achieve much success.
He was quoted saying that, “Nathaniel had a lot of innate talent. Many students of mine ended up becoming lawyers and doctors, but he loved music with a passion.” (Patricia, 2009) Although Mr. Ayers was offered a scholarship to attend music school at Ohio University and Ohio State, he aspired to attend Julliard School of Music in New York City. He was accepted to the school on a full scholarship as a double bassist. Unfortunately, during his third year at Julliard’s, he suffered a mental breakdown and had to be institutionalized. There was some speculation that Mr. Ayers felt extreme pressure to prove himself as one of the few African American students in the highly competitive school.
