It is at this point that Herrick enters the room requesting Tituba to come with him, most likely for execution. The next scene is seen in a courthouse atmosphere most likely, in a conversation between Danford and Herrick. At this time reverend Parris enters the room exclaiming that Hale might be able to convince the “witches” to confess and re unite with God, in a great joy, they all request him to see Proctor. A tortured Proctor takes a moment alone with his wife, they both seem like 2 very different people. A very calm atmosphere is felt while reading this section of the story, they discuss love between each other, judgement, life, the family and the future.
Plot Summary Vernon God Little follows an intelligent teenager, innocently accused of capital murder, on his adventures through the penal and legal system. He briefly escapes to Acapulco into the arms of a lover, who brays him. The story shows reality television invading Death Row, and Vernon gaining a last second pardon through a remarkable series of phone calls to enemies and friends. Vernon Little's life as a normal teenager falls apart, when his best friend, Jesus Navarro, murders their classmates in the schoolyard, and Vernon is taken in for questioning. He cooperates with Deputy Vain Gurie, because he had been running an errand for a teacher, Mr. Nuckles, and is not involved in the massacre.
Kim thought that since he was a doctor there he could get special treatment. Kim’s actions to the woman at the front start to make his ex-wife worry about his temper. With Kim’s reactions of him being impatient doesn’t really help him or Becky when he was in the room with Dr. Morgan. When he went to talk to Dr. Morgan he couldn’t control his temper “what the hell is it Dr. Morgan (Kim spat 56)”. Kim not thinking of his actions gets him into more trouble.
When Gail first finds out what Frank had done to Marie and the other Native American girls, she tells Wes trusting in him to bring Frank to justice. This is very hard for Wes to do because Frank is his brother, but it causes a strain in Frank and Gail's marriage, but they pull through. Gail wasn’t happy with Wes's decision to keep Frank in their basement; she understood how hard the situation with Frank was on Wes, that she decided to support him. When the four men went to her house to break Frank out she was there to stop them, even though she did not agree with keeping him in her house. Another way she was loyal to Wes was her relationship with Len.
As the story continues, Carl Lee hires on Jake Brigance who valiantly accepts the case knowing the dangers and challenges involved in obtaining it. After facing financial and perilous hardships Jake decides he can’t do this trial on his own. He hires on an eager attractive law student Ellen Roark, his alcoholic law school advisor Lucien Wilbanks, and his friend Harry Vonner. Together this team sets out to prove that temporary insanity led Carl Lee to the killings. The trail erupts as protests between the Ku Klux Klan and civil rights activists such as the NAACP try to manage the legal proceedings.
The “gladiators in suits” catch on to the lies of James when he repeatedly states, “she was my best friend” when asked to explain the occurrences on his ongoing relationship. Even with this, Olivia Pope goes on to “trust her gut” and believes in his innocence. She can only continue the investigation by delaying the arrest of James. Olivia seeks the help of the Assistant U.S Attorney, David Rosen, to grant her twenty-four hours before he arrests or charges James in order to prove his innocence. She acquires this by threatening Rosen by bringing reporters out into his home and questioning why he is persecuting an “innocent, handicapped, metal of honor winner.” This continues to add to the initial portrayal of James as a conservative republican.

Catherine is invited to the Tilney's home, the Northanger Abbey of the title, where she imagines numerous gruesome secrets surrounding the General and his house. Henry proves that her suspicions have no substance by, while she is still recovering from the humiliation, she finds herself ordered out of the house by the General. She returns home and is followed by Henry. He explains that the General, mistakenly believing her to be penniless, had been anxious to keep her away from his son. Restored to a sensible humour by the truth, the General finally gives his blessing to Henry's marriage to Catherine.
The reason there is conflict between these two characters is not only because of the challenge Frank faces by eventually agreeing to tutor her, but, more importantly, because he has serious reservations about doing so. Throughout the play, Frank experiences moral difficulties with his commitment to tutoring her because he feels he is compromising her uniqueness as an individual. Rita has to spend a large part of the play trying to convince Frank that this is really what she wants. The first impression we receive of Rita is from Frank's referral to her while on the phone with his current girlfriend. He excuses his later trip to the pub by saying: “I shall need to wash away the memory of some silly woman's attempts to get into the mind of Henry James...” Thus, the first reference to Rita is indirect and biased.
Eva sees each ethnic group seperately rather than as a whole. A major break through in the movie is when Eva testifies against ‘their own’. Eva’s role in the court room shows that she accepts that the innocent man she is going to put in jail doesn’t deserve it. Silence is used to show Eva is possibily thinking about the similar situation that had happened to her dad. Acceptance of Eva is shown in the conclusion of the movie when Sindy, a Vietnamese class mate offers to share her makeup.
