Reading Journal #4 The book I am currently reading is called “The House of Hades” by Rick Riordan. It is the fourth book of The Heroes of Olympus series. This book is part of my reading goal. It helps my reading goal because it is one of Rick Riordan books. After this book, there is only one more left until I finish The Heroes of Olympus series. After I am finished, I'm going to start another series of his called, “The Red Pyramid.” In this book, Percy and Annabeth are plunged into Tartarus with nobody except each other. They are in vast danger because all monsters that are killed are then dissolved in Tartarus. Since Percy and Annabeth have killed so many monsters during The Titan War and quests, Percy and Annabeth are number one on all…show more content…
He is also the son of Hades, who is the God of the underworld. While they are in Venice, Hazel is dying because the Katobleps(it’s a monster that looks kind of like a sheep and a dog) got their poison on her and Nico is turned into a potted plant; it is up to Frank to get what he needs for the man who did this, Triptolemus. Frank needed a python, and he needed his dads help but to get his attention he had to do something impressive. So, Frank went out and defeated all the Katobleps. Not 10 or 15, hundreds of them were slaughtered. For doing so, he was gifted a python to save his friends and Mars made him a little taller, buffer and more confident. Hazel is given a prominent role in this book too. Hecate is giving her a task. To follow her directions and learn to summon power and magic. Once Hazel can do that it will be so much easier to fool the monsters and the team will have an extra power, mist. Also, the vocabulary has increased a lot in this
