If the movie had more detail it would be more interesting. The book gave me a better picture. When I saw the movie it confused me because it didn’t have all the parts. If I just saw the movie I wouldn’t understand why Greasers and Socs were separated and why they hated each other. I think Cherry did a really good job; she fit the description really well I think.
It holds this view as it saes that within the media there was “too little discussion of racial matters”. This could be due to it being a sensitive subject among the viewers and that they believe the views they hold are correct and that the ones they watch are unrepresentative and stereotyped. It also mentions how “to listen to some people is to believe there are no racial problems in the United Kingdom” which shows how it believes a minority view that is shown through tv programmes like Love Thy Neighbour might not give a true representation of the level of race relations and acceptance of other races. By using the sources and my own knowledge, I have come to the conclusion that since the Second World War race relations have improved due to British television. Source 13 highlights how even the young could acknowledge despite the differences in cultures white people are shown to be acceptant of other cultures in the media.
The text move away from another and this could give the viewer’s time to read the remaining words. The size of the animation is quite small but it’s still clear for viewers to read. | The audience may not pay attention to the speed of the video. | Do the features match the aim? The image on the top left side of the animation matches the features because it has the Christmas leaf which is symbolism of Christmas.
The research suggests that capacity of short term memory could only be enlarged by grouping items together known as chunking. By chunking information, we are more likely able to remember it whether in single or combined forms which is why it’s known as the magical number seven plus or minus two. However, the experiment could also be criticised in the sense that there could have been experimenter bias and demand characteristics. It also isn’t ecologically valid since people don’t have to memorise random letter and numbers all the time. Nevertheless,
While Freud’s “Phallic Stage” is not really addressed or even appear to be relevant in this show, it does tend to cater to Erickson’s “Initiative Vs. Guilt” and “Autonomy Vs. Shame and Doubt” stages of development. The Characters tend to be in the age right between these two stages. They are becoming self-sufficient and often want to do things like the adults do; with the main character being adventurous and the weaker characters often feeling guilty or scared. The episode was broken down into two separate parts. The first one the group had to figure out why the dog "Spike" was acting weird and kept disappearing.
I like to see props so that the characters can stay engaged in what is going on. The costumes were very traditional and plain in all black with a hint of pink or purple. I did not like attire only because it was too plain. But, I understand why it was done because the actors were portraying different people and costume change would have been too
Super strength, perfect hearing, eyesight, memory and etc, all these abilities are only able to see in cartoons or movies. However, if these abilities or enhancements are actually available in our real life, this could be devastated to many people and at the same time it could be a remarkable evolution to human beings. There are numerous aspects that we should look into before we actually decide rather this enhancement should be allowed or not. Famous writer David Plotz takes a position against enhancement and gave us few examples such as safety, cheating, evolution, equality. Starting with safety, he claims that enhancement should be limited to protect individuals from harming themselves or others.
Even though the film demonstrates violent aspects, the main point is to not encourage others to use human beings as target, but only for comedy and entertainment. The film is comedic, because most of the scenes show reactions when people get hit by the ball are exaggerated with a “slap stick” humor, so that doesn’t encourage violence at all.The critics of dodgeball in Physical Education are also overly concerned and protective. This is the reason for their concern: Dodgeball has little redeeming educational value according to some P.E. teachers and professionals. It uses human targets, and it eliminates from the game the very students who need to practice and exercise the most.
There are some speech snippets as well but it is all in Japanese apart from the phrases uttered by Nicole, the Spartan. A few in game cut-scenes is meant to flesh out the story but while occasionally humorous, actually have very little to do with anything. Seeing a T-Rex get knocked out with an uppercut or two girls fighting over lettuce are just two examples. The endings are all CGI and while absolutely stunning also have very little to do with anything. In fact, most of them exist only to show off the female characters in the most revealing outfits possible.
Dear Noelle McCarthy I strongly disagree with your article “being different will only result in tears”. You make a number of incorrect points, comparing the lives of animals to the lives of humans. In most cases being different is a good thing as it makes you unique to the other people, if every one is the same you will eventually get bored of them, so making new friends who have a different personality than you do is a good thing in most groups. Every one is unique in most ways; basically we all do the same things, however it goes down to the way we think, that is the way that makes everyone unique, you cant change the way you think, but you can change the way you behave. You generalize being different, you may be different in a positive or negative way, it’s just the negative way, which she describes as “deadly”, some people choose to be different and succeed in life for example make friends or finding a good job just because your personality is different, celebrities prove that as most of them are classified as weird however millions of people follow them.
