We are dedicated to providing the best, most reliable technology in the retail industry. Our success depends on the satisfaction of our customers and we are committed to giving them the ultimate shopping experience. SWOT Analysis Strengths: 1. Stores are clean and well designed. Aisles are open and clutter-free which makes it comfortable for customers to shop. The lighting is fantastic, making it easy to see products clearly. 2. Great service compared to competitors who process their customers. 3. Widely recognized name and reputation. Customers know the name Best Buy and associate it with great service. 4. Recognized by the Ethisphere Institute as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies for 2010. Weaknesses: 1. There is sometimes a staffing shortage. The company can’t provide customers with the level of service that they expect when they visit the store if there aren’t enough employees to go around. There should be more than enough employees on weekends and during holidays to take care of the customer. 2. The buy-back program is giving a lot of customers the impression that they are being taken advantage of. Consumers pay $9.99 to $69.99 for the possibility of Best Buy buying back the item when you want to trade it in. Items (with the exception of certain TVs) must be traded in within two years in order to get something back on it.
