This is imperative if we are to maintain a competitive advantage in the marketplace, while in addition earning repetitive and referral business from our customers. There are three main types of costs associated with producing quality products. If we are aware of the following costs of quality, and implement them in areas in need of improvement, the quality of our merchandise will improve, our customer satisfaction will improve, and our reputation will improve, resulting in a more prosperous business. The three types of costs associated with quality considerations are prevention costs, appraisal costs, and internal/external failure costs.
The two offerings to be brought to market were also given product names that would hopefully elicit some consideration by the market customer. The workhorse offering was named “Innova”, derived from “Innovation”. The Mercedes offering was named “Design Max”, referencing the power and engineering software that it contained. Looking at the sales office locations that were offered I chose to enter New York and Paris, since these two markets showed the highest demand for the two offerings that were chosen for TechSol to bring to market, the Workhorse and the Mercedes. These two markets were chosen so that Techsol could position a high volume small margin offering to the markets that would stabilize production due its substantial need.

These patterns are recognized through the current system and would help Kudler refine its processes and offerings to best satisfy its valued customers. A successful manufacturing company feels a niche by choosing to make products that they can offer for a better price than its competitors or items that provide a superior experience for the customer. Build Competent Staff: A successful manufacturing company must have a trained and competent staff that understands the fundamentals of manufacturing in general as well as the particulars of manufacturing the particular company`s products. Your staff must understand how to prioritize manufacturing tasks by understanding which orders are most urgent, and which processes must be completed before others can begin. Introduction The scenario of this assignment is that I work as a Marketing Executive in the Product Planning Division of an internationally successful car manufacturer. What can the Toyota marketing department do to develop advertising and marketing strategies to attain leadership in the segment? Some of the things they can do for the consumers to understand is to focus on making the 2004 Prius a “normal” car in design and feel with advantage of an HEV. Make the costumers loyal to the brand by providing better services than competitors. Create an awareness campaign to get the customers used to the product and the technology. Also make automobile magazines, bloggers and experts report about the good quality and reliability of HEVs.

A sub brand is a different area of the company which trades under the Nissan name however targeted at another part of the market hoping to create its own brand. A sub brand is defined as products or services that are associated with a parent brand but have a positioning or essence that make them unique from the parent brand (Southgate and Gadhia, 2011).
