She lies so she can stay there and slowly learn about her mother. Lily is living a secret life just like the bees, “Bees have a secret life we don’t know anything about.” (148). Just like Lily the bees also have a secret life. She realizes that she needs to tell August Boatwright about her mother soon.

Her sister married an abusive husband, and Madame Walker left home at 14 to escape the abuse. Soon after she married and had a child, but became a widow a few years later.
In “Ashputtle”, the main character had a father and a mother, but her mother was really sick and died. After some months, the father got married again and his new wife came to his house with her two daughters. Ashputtle’s stepmother and stepsisters treated her like she was their servant. Also, she did not have a bed, and she had to sleep by the ashes. That is the reason they called her “Ashputtle”.
Yesterday, the citizens of Verona were shocked at the discovery of a double death. Two young teenagers, Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet’s bodies were discovered in the Capulet family tomb; both of them dead. Initial investigation shows that the two committed suicide. One by sword and the other by poison. It appears that Romeo went down to mourn Juliet inside the Capulet tomb when he encountered Country Paris who was supposed to have wed Juliet last week.

Ferguson grew up in the 1940’s on a farm in America. She details the sudden and witnessed death of her beloved pet, Debbie. This has an instant impact on her describing the pain the tears and the hurt. To the death of her father, who had been diagnosed with Cancer, the almost delayed reaction in what society sees as the first sign of grief – tears.

The family goes through the death of their mother and wife, Addie Burden, and set out to accomplish her final wish of a burial in Jefferson. These events of the novel are told through the eyes of multiple narrators, most notably Anse and Addie Bundren’s second child, Darl. Darl is the primary narrator of the book, delivering the largest number of interior monologues. Because of his intellectually complex mind and his unique powers of perception Darl’s narration goes beyond the scope of what character’s knowledge should be.
Feldshih describes her father’s death as her inspiration of becoming a nurse. “As a little girl, I would run Sunday mornings to watch him raise his arm high up over his head so that he could reach a tin can that he had hidden behind an oak crossbeam above the entranceway to our kitchen.” This shows the audience the relationship between Ms.Evers and her father, how they were really close to each other, and how they both loved each other. Edie is a fifteen year old girl that did not fare very well in school, so her parents decided to take her out of school after she finished the last in the class. Edie went to for Dr. and Mrs. Pebbles where she took care of the two children and cared for the home and the cooking. The plot is the dynamic element in fiction, a sequence if interrelated, conflicting actions and events that typically build to a climax and bring about a resolution (Clugston, 2010). The plot in “How I Meet My Husband” is how a young innocent farm girl waiting for a gypsy pilot to write her a letter. She never hears from him again but still manages to find love while maturing and learning a life lesson.
