Introduction The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) was a document drawn up by the United Nations General Assembly on 10th December 1948 following the post war years of the Second World War (1939 - 1945) as means of preventing further killings which originated from the machinery of war and which disregard the dignity and inherent rights of human beings. These human rights should be protected by the rule of law this being an essential element in the promotion of friendly dialogue between nation states. Article 2 Article 2 of UDHR provides the fundamental rights in all respects without any distinction, discrimination of any kind such as, race, color, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. These all properties of this article ensure the fundamental rights which are very essential for all human beings as these are their born rights. This article draws clear lines for all the United Nations member countries so that they should abide by the essential points of this article. It is also necessary that all the nations should include the points mentioned in this article in their constitution so that public rights should be protected according to the country law on the legal basis. Religious Perspective All the religions preach about the basic rights, specifically in Islam, all the fundamental rights are defined in the holy book of Quran and these are explained and performed by the holy Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H). He also drew clear lines about the Human rights in his last sermon that all the Muslims are equal; no one is superior to other on the basis of race, color and wealth. Constitution of Pakistan and Human Rights 1973 constitution of Pakistan (section 7- 40) provides all the fundamental rights to the people of Pakistan without any discrimination on the basis of race,
