What rights should everyone have? How do we balance these rights? Everybody has rights protected by the constitution, but for every right a human is given there is a balance that limits the power of the right. Rights are considered to be necessary for civilization, being thought of as the principles of society and culture. I believe that everyone is born with the freedom of speech, we are all born equally, and I also believe that you have rights no matter where you go.
Freedom of religion means that you have the right to worship as you wish. The meaning of having the right to a prompt, fair trial by jury is that everyone is innocent until proven guilty by a jury and state of law. The others speak for themselves. In order for American citizens to have all of these rights and freedoms our country had to go to war. Individuals that were Americans fought for our country to stay a free country.
Amendment’s 1-7 Research Paper The Constitution and all of it's amendments were created as a rule book or a guideline on what the government of the United States can do and what it can not do. It protects American citizens from abusive government actions against them that could violate basic rights like religion and freedom of speech. The first seven amendments are very important and give us many rights. He strongly believes Religion depicts the view on same sex marriage, he believes we should believe what god believes, and what god believes is marriage is the love and commitment between two people of the opposite sex. Dematteis has views from all different perspectives, and he believes no one should judge anyone based on what gender he or she loves. He discusses more about what the people in America think in their States about same sex marriage.
Dr. Martin Luther King analysis Martin Luther King is trying to tell his audience that everyone should be treated equal. The fact that somebody can say such powerful words off the top of their head is amazing. In this portion of the speech, he is telling people what he sees possible to happen in the future. Dr. King wants equality between blacks and whites. One line that really stood out to me is when he states, “I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal.” I think that this is very powerful because he’s saying that our nation isn’t reaching its goal, to be equal, and it certainly needs to.
