From the results and the article, parents should be aware of the consequences that these fast paced programs may have on their

According to the National Sleep Foundation, sleep deprivation can cause problems with, concentration, listening, and learning. “They’re hyper not because their brains don’t work right, but because they spend most of the day waiting for slower students to catch up with them. These students are bored to tears, and people who are bored fidget, wiggle, scratch, stretch, and (especially if they are boys) start looking for ways to get into trouble” (Turtel 1). Many other factors outside the classroom can stress or emotionally affect children, like not getting love from parents, divorce, personality clashes with parents, sexual, physical, or emotional abuse, and many other factors. Also it wouldn't be fair for the teacher because most teacher have ah family to raise and take care two extra hours.would be beneficial. Especially the students wouldn't be able to have any social life because us students would be getting out at 5;33 almost 6 and it get dark by then so its not beneficial for us. The first reason to allow schools to permit two extra hours to the school day is that kids are really struggling with there grades because certain children have issues at home. Every student has there story some student probably aren't able to complete assignment because maybe there parents constantly are arguing or fighting and the child doesn't have a quiet place to study or complete assignments. Most students won't speak up about there issues at home which will cause of drop outs and drugs using or hanging out with the bad crowd.
