Some families like to bake specific things like a passed down family recipe of a sweat potato dish or like the Williams family, a big bowl of homemade mac and cheese and cornbread stuffing. Grace is the grandmother in the Williams family, and she is a typical grandmother. For example, watching over Audrey, her daughter in law, cook and have lots to say about it. Grace notices that Audrey is not making a bowl of mac and cheese and she is not too thrilled about it. Grace acts this way because she clearly wants to keep her tradition going.

Every one from my camp has the same stripe. We are united, we are one family, and that helped us know who was from our camp and intimidated others. When those gifts were given to us we were very amazed and shocked at the same time. When we tried them on couch said: “We are running one mile on the sand!”- so it was a team bonding experience. The person who gave those cool gifts to us is a very famous person on that beach.

Joining the navy on July 27, 2007 was one of the happiest days ever, I wanted to be travel the world and see different places, places I’ve never seen. Be able to shop and have things that no one else would have. I graduated from boot camp and was sent to the newest aircraft carrier in the fleet the USS George H.W Bush. On January 12, 2010 we got devastating news that and earthquake had just hit Haiti. At the time the ship wasn’t going out to sea so they were able to send volunteers to help the victims of the earthquake, so I decided to volunteer.

My cousin always enjoyed when my aunt would cook my favorite foods chicken Florentine it smelled so good and tasted rich of seasonings, cheese. Florida smells very mild and the air is unpolluted I would not get sick as much as when I lived in New Jersey so I wanted to stay there but I missed my family so we moved back home when I turned thirteen years old. Inclusion my experience living in Florida was terrific and unforgettable in the near future I plan to revisit Florida because I truly enjoyed the different childhood experiences. However, since she was just a little girl they didn’t care as long as you paid the right amount and as soon as they knew it the Guevara family touched American soil. Now with more knowledge about the states and more money they decided to start there lives out in New York. With three plane tickets ready for them they quickly boarded days from just arriving. My father, mother and sister ended up settling in New Rochelle. They loved going to the city, its something they could have ever experienced in Peru.
I decided to miss a week of school and flew to New York to take care of him. I did not regret my decision. When I was nurturing my grandfather, I felt like my actions were of a real nurse, benefiting another with positive efforts. Now that my focus is set, I am eager to get on track for the opportunity to pursue nursing as a career. I hope that college will give me the chance to get started and contribute to the community in positive ways.
