Agriculture workers do a lot in their occupation for others and themselves. Their jobs can range from working on a farm to being in the office delivering chemicals to the retail stores. Agriculture workers vary in how many hours you work, how much you get paid, what education you need, benefits. Employees in this job would be beneficial. This job holds a lot of way you could experience to advance to a different job. Ag Workers can gain a lot of hands on experience to. This job is beneficial because almost anybody can work in this profession if they wanted to. Agriculture began in the early eighteenth century. They used oxen and horses as a source of power. Usually they used a wooden plow and did everything else by hand. 1837 John Deere started to manufacture parts to make agriculture easier and faster to do. Technology has really advanced from back in the day. Agricultural workers have GPS and more electronic tools that help them do their jobs. Popular agricultural workers find out their skills on the job in less than a month. Some occupations, however, need more work experience or formal education. Most farm workers learn their jobs quickly as they work. People lacking a high school diploma are mostly common in the crop production vicinity. Other agricultural workers require a month to a year of training on the job. For graders and sorters, training requirements vary on the basis of their responsibilities. For those who perform tests on agricultural products, a high school diploma is preferred and may be required. Simple jobs requiring mostly visual inspection might be filled by those without a high school diploma (Education).
