All of those factors allowed Telmore to significantly save on its operations and have lower break-even level, and provide ‘no-frills’ service as lower price, which gave it its competitive advantage over TDC. Hence, even though Telmore has to bought the minutes from TDC to resell to its customers, it had an advantage due to its unique offering and lean cost structure. In general, who will benefit from the regulation that forces operators to open their network to competition? * Consumers * Entrants * Incumbents If you were an incumbent operator such as TDC, would you grant access to a no-frills service provider if you were not required by the legislation to do so ? * Yes, because * No, because TDC could allow a company such as Telmore to develop a new customer base, which might be also consisting of migrating customers from other operators and providers, and
Lotteries provide state governments with a relatively easy way to enhance their revenues without imposing more taxes. Lotteries are also financially beneficial to the small businesses that sell lottery tickets and to larger companies that participate in merchandising campaigns or provide advertising or computer services. Lotteries also provide cheap entertainment to people who want to play. Lottery proponents often advocate lotteries for their economic benefits to education. Some lotteries dedicate a portion of their profits toward K-12 or higher education.
What is meant by this is sites such as Google or Facebook give us free services, or so we think, but what is really happening is they collect our personal information and sell them to businesses so they can use it to lure us into buying their products through specialized ads. In my opinion, this is a smart business tactic, although not the best. Just because we give out certain interests we have, it doesn’t mean that it’s the only interest we have. It would be much smarter to give a variety of ads so that people are open to looking at something they didn’t even know that they may need or enjoy. There is only so much you can give us of something we already
I’d rather spend some time doing repetitive actions with my video games then be out doing something crazy. The advantages are my life is a lot cheaper (money wise), and somewhat safer than a thrill seeker. I don’t require major changes in my life to keep myself entertained. The down side would be that I am not as social as others at times, and I don’t get to experience as many interesting things in my life. Question 2: How would you rate your own achievement motivation?
Adding an e-business will also allow better interaction with suppliers on the global market as well. Overall, the e-business will provide a twenty four hour order and support site that runs with a low cost of overhead and reaches an unlimited market that only the internet can provide. Broadway Café Project Focus What Type of e-business would you deploy at The Broadway Café? In order to make the café more competitive, since business is steadily declining, the idea of implementing an e-business is a great idea. This would allow for non-perishable products such as coffee to be sold on a global market.
Another reason people like to defend Wal-Mart is because they have better prices than most everyone else which is easier on peoples wallets. Wal-Mart has become such a household name that most people will shop there without checking out other business when they realistically could be spending a little extra pocket change and helping their economy and help control this giant corporation. The savings people get are on account of cheap foreign goods that aren’t as good as American goods and people don’t realize it because they just remember the good deals. In my opinion there aren’t any other reasons to defend
He thought that people would be more inclined to “try something new if the price was low enough, and that businesses would offer low prices if they knew they could sell a large quantity.” He came up with the concept that offers are only carried out if there were enough people to commit to participate in them. The company and concept of Groupon spread so quickly because of the power of the internet, being able to reach millions of people across the world and giving people the opportunity to get a good “deal” on something. 2. The Groupon Promise is “any customer can return a Groupon, no questions asked—even if they have used it—if they feel like Groupon has let them down.” The Groupon Promise affects a consumer’s perceived risk by making the consumer feel less committed. They know that if something comes up and can’t participate in the Groupon that they aren’t obligated to show up or use it.
