Colleges all over the US have decided to raise the amount of standardized tests that are required to be considered to be accepted into their college. "Getting good grades in school, taking challenging classes, being in hundreds of clubs, working and doing hours of community service as well as taking the ACT and the SAT simply isn't enough," says Tom Brown an admission director at Harvard College. Colleges and ACT have come together to create the all new ACTT. This test will be required for all students who wish to apply to any college in the US. The new standardized test comes with reading, math, english, writing, science, and social studies.

My journey toward that dream is to study hard and to enroll in all the credit courses that I need to transfer into a four year college. During my high school career, I have put a lot of effort forward in my schoolwork and have challenged myself with advanced courses. I have successfully been competing against my other classmates to try and be the best I can be. I have received honor roll every semester of my high school career. Being selected as a potential candidate for NHS proves my academics, but what makes me a great candidate is not just my average. It is difficult to narrow down many instances in which I have showed great leadership.

Every U.S. citizen is bound to it. Our young grow up learning each aspect of the Constitution. It is ingrained throughout the educational experience. Many high school graduates if not all, are required to pass a constitution test. In Illinois 8th graders must pass a similar test to move into high school.
THE FIRST YEAR EXPERIENCE 2 FIRST YEAR EXPERIENCE AND ENGAGEMENT Ensuring that students keep engaged in their studies throughout university is obviously a high priority for educators in higher education. The First Year Experience (FYE) has drawn much attention in the late 20th century and early 21st century (McInnis, 2000). Therefore it is imperative that educators of FYE students acquire appropriate knowledge and develop sufficient skills to assess students early in their studies (Wilson, 2003). This Literature Review describes the FYE with special attention to aspects that trigger discontentment. Subsequent research will then recommend several key mechanisms that educators of FYE students should put in place to combat attrition levels.
Just think about all that hard work you have done throughout the last three years; taking test, completing projects, and preparing yourself for college. Many colleges require a list of all the classes you took your senior year, even the levels of those courses. By looking at this list they will determine what kind of students you are and if you decided to slack off. Senior year is just another year to strengthen your knowledge and learning skills, to prepare for all the challenges ahead. A successful senior year can lead you to a better path to a successful future.
