Overall a trip to the beach can be a calming getaway from the stress and the everyday pressures of life. The many sounds of the beach can be quite calming. Being at Panama City Beach can make you forget about your home town or city. The beach can make you forget about your troubles you have at home with your love ones. Also the ocean is so beautiful and unforgettable.
As a child, every fall, my parents would take me and my siblings camping. Dad worked a lot, so we counted down the days of summer, until we got to be together. Every breath I took was like I was inhaling my childhood. I could hear the waves bouncing off the rocks as we sat on the patio and had lunch. The smell of the water and the warmth that touched my skin, when the sun peeked through the clouds, took me back in time to the campground.
On Cape Cod, however, I still go to the beach frequently throughout the week. I've always thought it strange that many Cape Codders only go to the surrounding beauty during the summertime. Personally, those short few months are not enough for me. Since I live just two minutes from Barnstable Harbor and Millway Beach, I usually find myself taking daily trips down to Millway Beach, sometimes to not even get out, but just to see the scene of the beach with the lighthouse in the
Now, the sea food and the beach was great, but after a long day of looking at girls and being at the beach and eating sea food, I think comes the best part! Which Is chilling out
People come from all over the island to dive here, since the water is extremely clear allowing you to see all the different sea life. When the tide is low, small tide pools are created. My children can spend numerous hours playing in the pools. They’re either looking at all the colorful fish that are trapped or just sitting in the pools, cooling off from the hot Okinawa sun. Sometimes they get overly excited going from one pool to another and slip on the coral reef, which can put a damper on all the fun.
Making new friends that are also something we strive for. Intellectual health: I like to take the afternoon while the children nap to clear my head and just relax for a while without any distractions such as TV or other outside noise. If I have alone time without the children I like to go to the marsh and take a walk alone to just reflect upon life. Environmental health: To name a few things I enjoy to clean my home so we have an environment that is free of clutter and dirt. I also enjoy working on the yard work.
I would relax quietly on the lime rock bed of the swimming hole and watch the movement of the fish swimming below. As I sat with my feet dangling over the edge, my mind would to take me far beneath, swimming deep into the clear green-blue water, the gentle swaying of sea grass brushing softly against me I would wonder what it must be like to be a fish. When the sunset began to go down I knew it was time to head back home. I was always up for a good competition. So during weekends, my cousin would come out to stay with us to get away from the city, she enjoyed swimming we would head to the swimming hole where we pretended to be in the Olympics we would have relay races to see who could get to the other side first.
This title also symbolizes how life is in reality. There is not a manual telling someone how to survive everyday life. People will have successes and failures in life just as the crew members had their ups and downs in the dinghy while they struggled to survive. No hardship, whether if it is about life in general or about the gentlemen in the story, will be easy, but that’s what makes life. “All of life is an act of letting go, but what hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye.” As Martel written, we all have our moments of happiness and gloom as well and nothing is there to protect us, just like nothing was there to protect them while out at sea.
Personally I related to all the characters in the various responses to the coastal landscapes of Cape Breton. I found that I reflected on my relationship to surfing, and In particular how the sea continues to inform me about who I am, emotionally and psychologically. The father in The Boat lives within an internal landscape of song, poem, and knowledge. While the mother lives comfortably within the physical landscape which is governed by traditional routine. For me, I live within an internal and external world when I go surfing.
This would be a place where he could take care of all his animals, enjoy fishing and be at the ocean which he loves so much. Further, this would be the place where his artistry could grow into a life long career, and perhaps become the instrument of his other passion: helping others. As a local up-coming artist of Southern California, Wes does not travel much at all, right now his main travels are from home to classes at Miracosta College and of course to the beach which he enjoys the most. I understand Wes' passion for the ocean....Being at the beach can give you a piece of mind and can restore your energy that many people do not realize, because they are too caught up in the fast pace of city living. which is what all people of this world should adhere to, but many people are to self centered and forget about others around them.
