She knows that he is going to be flirting with girls all night, so she allows it while she sneaks away to do a little flirting of her own with Mr. Gatsby.
There is no doubt in my mind that Acheron felt the same way. “I don’t like your hair black.” Artemis stated. The fact that she could not have him look exactly the way she wanted made her very upset at times. When love is involved, it is easy to allow yourself be abused believing it is for the best of that relationship. Acheron loved Artemis so much that he was willing to allow her dark side to inflict scars emotionally and internally, which is extremely saddening.
When Janie meets Tea Cake, a poor and adventurous worker, she knows that he is seen as an undesirable and unsuitable match for her: “Janie, everybody’s talkin’ bout how Tea Cake is draggin you round tuh places you ain’t used tuh” (112). Knowing that people saw Tea Cake as an incompatible match did not stop Janie from loving him. Janie understood societies view of him, but did not allow this to stop her from trying to find true love. Through Tea Cake, Janie learned that real love is feeling appreciated and truly desired, and that her past relationships were not love: “Tea Cake love me in blue, so Ah wears it. Jody ain’t never in his life picked out no color for me”(112).
Emma helps out around the house, treats friends and foes with respect and conducts herself reasonably well. It is obvious to everyone that she is undoubtedly nicer than her devious counterpart. Sutton's father, Ted, jokingly asks her, "Who are you and what have you done with my daughter?" The show seems to suggest how bad and corrosive lying can be, with several good characters talking about how important it is to be honest and truthful, particularly in regards to one's family and friends. Nevertheless, those very same good characters lie to each other constantly, even while understanding how two-faced they're being.
However when we see Myrtle when she is in New York with Tom we see her being very spoilt and therefore becomes very ungrateful, ‘I want one of those dogs’ this shows that when she asks Tom for anything she gets it with out question, just to make her happy. This also shows that she really cares about what people think of her. This is also supported by the fact that she says ‘I just slip it on sometimes when I don’t care what I look like’ the influence of the dress changes her
But I fear she may find Him a poor listener, as many of us here have done. Who never knew getting there can be a difficult task. Daisy was a beautiful young woman who stole all the men hearts, including Jay Gatsby. Daisy represents love, giving love and being loved. From her elegance to her innocent actions, men were glued to her like a boy stuck to the television. But Daisy was a very picky girl.
She believes she has truly found love in this asylum and to her it feels pretty good. Towards the end of the text Lewis kisses her out of the safety of Julie. She blushed she was surprised she loved it. She is mad of course she is, she is in an asylum but the message Nowra is trying to put across is that everyone is mad when it comes to love. Cherry seems to become more nutty when she falls for Lewis.

When I returned it was the most amazing thing I had ever seen. Not only did it have what I requested, but she made it look like an underwater Sponge Bob paradise. She went above and beyond what she had to do. I was so amazed that I didn’t even realize she had spelled my son’s name wrong. It was an easy fix though and nothing in comparison to the great job she did on the cake.
