Quick and easy 30 minute meals are perfect for when you're short on time but still want a delicious home cooked dinner. They're also great for inexperienced cooks that want to use basic cooking skills with today’s fast-paced lifestyles and hectic schedules. Getting dinner on the table can be a daunting task. Don't give up on great tasting family meals because you can't spend hours in the kitchen. Imagine delicious dinners that taste like old fashioned suppers even on the busiest of days. No matter how full your schedule gets or how little time you have, or your past cooking experience; your family will love any of these tasty 30 minute meals. Choosing your favorite desired meal is essential to satisfying you and your family’s taste buds! Let’s say that you choose brown sugar glazed chicken and sweet potatoes. You will need the following ingredients: 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon, ½ teaspoon ground cumin, ½ teaspoon ground black pepper , 4 bone-in chicken breast halves (about 2 ½ pounds), 3 tablespoons brown sugar, 4 tablespoons butter, non-stick spray, 1 large can yams in syrup, drained, cinnamon and butter for yams . This amount will serve four people. After choosing the desired meal, make sure you have all the necessary equipment to make this meal. Try to avoid plastic items when cooking; you will need an oven dish, bowl, aluminum foil cooking sheet, spatula, cooking spoon, and a pan for the sweet potatoes. A container for left overs is also necessary to save this delicious meal. You will also need a working sink to wash your hands and clean the dishes as you go. Now you are ready to start preparing your meal. First you set the oven to the desired temperature typically 500 degrees (f) Spray the pan with the non-stick spray; this is done so that the chicken doesn’t stick to the pan. Aluminum foil can be used if preferred.
