I was able to hold back most of the negative emotions brought on by having to describe the trauma of the accident, and it enabled me to create an essay unlike anything I have ever written. Music made my writing experience unlike any other and has aided me in creating and using a broader vocabulary and extensive use of detail. This shows how music has a heavy impact on my ability to think “outside of the box” and become more inspired. Being a music student I have found a lot of inspiration in music and it has made me a better writer. A specific instance where I
There were a few times when I actually had to choose a different day because I kind of subconsciously listened to music without even thinking about it. I love all different types of music; so I guess one could call me an eclectic. Although I love all different types of music my usual genres would be R&B and Pop. Music is like a gateway to escape from boredom's and/or daily stresses such as, arguments, overwhelming schoolwork, anger, and due-dates. That just goes to show that music is a huge part of me and a part of my life.
Rebecca Wagner Book Report One English 9 Block 4 9/14/11 Ride Like The Wind True Colors by Kristen Hannah is about a crime that shocks a small town, a terrible mistake made by our legal system, sisters who have lost their way, a boy who doesn’t know how to be a man without his father, and true love. I went on a journey to a corner of Washington State, 1992 where girls look forward to the County Fair and sleep in a dusty stall every once and a while. I loved this book and I could relate to a lot of the characters. It was compelling, passionate, and inspiring. It shows that even through hardships, your family will always be there for you.

Neoma Joyner Western Civilization April 14, 2011 Medieval Music Music is my life! When I’m cruising in my car to go to school, the grocery store or taking road trips with my friends, it just wouldn’t be the same with out the upbeat tunes of artists like Rihanna or Katy Perry. Listening to Jay-Z, Beyonce and Missy Elliot motivate me while at my local gym to work out a little longer or run a little faster. When I’m feeling down and blue, I can always count on artist like Jennifer Hudson or Brian McKnight to soothe my soul. Without music, my life would be incomplete.
Once two-a-days started in the summer I would drive myself to practice. I took such good care of my car and was always wary when driving. I started to become more comfortable with driving. Music has a huge effect on me and I could not imagine not having music in my life. The media influences the way I feel about music in a negative way.
Most people tend to be more biased on the place that they have always lived and been raised when they have never experienced the other. For me I have lived in both places and can easily compare the two and their pros and cons of each. The country life for me brings back many very good memories and I always enjoyed the open space that it offered. This was great especially when I was a little kid, because what kid doesn’t love to explore the outdoors with unlimited amounts of space. The wide open space was always something I loved, but it could also be somewhat negative if you ever had some kind of an emergency or even the gas mileage of driving into town on a regular basis.
