Pro-Protective Custody Laws Position For: A fetus is a life, a person, and most importantly a future child. It is our job as a society to ensure that he or she is protected. When this woman chose to carry this child, she in fact gave up her right to control her own body, and make choices only for her well-being. In the hunt for justice, we must make the fetus’s rights just as important as the mother’s. If a woman chooses not to seek medical attention for her unborn child, is that not the same as a mother not seeking medical attention for her baby’s aliment?
The genetic makeup of the baby would be changed so that the child could be born free of any genetic diseases. The prayers of some couples would be answered; giving them the chance to create a healthy child that they could call their own. Supporters of designer babies also claim that IVF and PGD are used to do what is best for the child. Often times parents try to mold their children into what they think will make them the most successful, and now parents would conveniently be able to do that molding before the child is even born. They would assert that they are doing what any child would want.
The solution could be placing the child with a family of a different race. Critics of interracial adoption will say that parents who adopt children of different ethnicities are not capable of caring or educating the child simply because of the cultural differences. The critics opinion has merit in the since that the parents cannot teach the child to be their race but they can provide love and raise them to be responsible adults. In the end we must consider which is more important, being able to find a child a loving family when race is not a factor or waiting for an indefinite time to try to find a family of the same race. If you are thinking about which is more important remember that for every twenty children who are in foster care at least nine of them wait an extended amount of time to be adopted.
Mandatory Vaccinations-by cnhuff “Does Jane know that she is endangering the population to not getting little Joe his vaccinations done?” This question could famously exist in many communities after parents find out that selected parents do not follow the doctor’s orders when it comes to vaccinations. This stigma may stand as the reason that vaccinations continue as medically necessary, furthermore, pushed as mandatory. The question for many individuals remain, just how safe are these vaccinations? The lion’s share of the public view vaccinations as safety nets that could prevent diseases and should stand as mandatory for everyone with very few exemptions in the population. However, philosophical beliefs, hazardous beliefs, and religious
This is more harmful to the child’s wellbeing on many different levels. Children experience the same feelings associated with divorce that adults do, they feel a loss and grief for the parent that is no longer there on a daily basis. The attachment that they had to the parent prior to the divorce has been forever changed. Some research shows that the quality of relationship between parent and child deteriorates and that the effects last until adulthood (Bouchard & Doucet, 2011). More recently laws have begun to change due to the research that shows children benefit from having both parents involved in their parenting.
Level 3 CYPW-SC Unit 62 Assignment- Understand the issues affecting young people in relation to sexual health and risk of pregnancy 1.1 Pregnancy- Teenage pregnancy is a serious social problem and a key inequality and social exclusion issue. Having children at a young age can damage young women's health and well-being and severely limit their education and career prospects. Children born to teenage parents are also much more likely, in time, to become teenage parents themselves. While the negative consequences of teenage pregnancy are felt most by young women and their children, it is important that strategies to reduce teenage pregnancy also impact on young men's attitudes and behavior.

One could declare that placing these children in crowded circumstances that would happen from the performance of this strategy would do more damage than excellent. Not all juveniles placed in enhance excellent proper care are there due to bad parenting. Some of these children end up there because the mother and father can no longer control their activities, or in between doing stints in teenager area. All mother and father or parents who lose their children would not have the same degree of violation, which runs the risk of children from better surroundings being taught through the same Public Concept adverse activities and assault from other children.
Should Parents be allowed to deliberately select embryos with a disability via the use of pre-implantation diagnosis? Using a technique known as pre-implantation diagnosis (PGD), specialists can select an embryo with preferred characteristics and dispose of the leftover embryos appropriately. This technique is usually used by those who have known genetic disorders in their family, but what if the parents want a child that has a disability? Is it illegal, is it unethical or is it just not thought of? In most cases it is the choice of the parents and we should respect their decision to raise them in their own way, but there is still a lot of controversy on the topic.
