Unit 5 roles responsibilities skills and techniques of a sports coaching Scenario you used to be a successful sports coach and would like to explore how coaches in different sports have used various roles , responsibilities , skills and techniques successfully over their careers, so you can implement similar attributes in your own coaching sessions. Roles – Innovator; some one who uses new techniques to enhance the performance of the athletes they are training . Problems ; could be too much new stuff for the players to learn and get used too a different way . innovators are usually get good results from the start of there coaching example – Sam Allerdyce (football , Bolton wanderers); added prozone and sports psychologists to his analysis and also added the right nutrition and resting to his training programme for his athletes . this improved his teams football because he was able to see how hard his players were working from the stats he had recorded from prozone so he could improve there work rate and give them the right recovery time and nutrition .
My goal is to have fun while being responsible and independent. Essentially I'll be facing challenges in every aspect of my life (in school and beyond graduation), and I want to live with the comfort of knowing that I made the right decisions. I believe that by being in charge of my daily activities, study times, and personal choices, I will equipped to make smart responsible judgments in the future. A few of my less-vague goals are to obtain an honor roll position in your school. I plan on achieving that by plainly studying as often as necessary and using
Self Pride The most successful people in life need self pride in order to succeed and excel at what they are doing. Self pride, a trait which is built through accomplishments, is something I possess because of the successes that I have attained in life. Acquiring my black belt in karate, getting my first job, and bringing up my grades, have all contributed to build myself pride. Becoming a black belt was no simple task. I had to overcome many challenges and face personal obstacles.
Attending college means acquiring opportunities and options. A good education will provide me with ways to accomplish my personal and career goals. The college experience is also a way of growing, maturing and gaining life experience. Ultimately, it will afford me a chance to become a positive influence within society. I come from a family of loving, hardworking people, and I saw the struggle and determination of making it through everyday life.
It was the challenges that I faced during these years that allowed me go to college and want to succeed as a human being. I took the positives like being a leader, making people laugh, and being responsible and continued to use them in my life and took the negatives like being shy around upperclassmen and new faces and continued to work on them to help form a more productive identity. I was very grateful to be able to find my identity during Erikson’s stage and stay clear of role confusion and with that, I am able to truly be the man that I want to
When it is done effectively, children all over the world are to become promising and productive citizens. (Is teaching the most important job in the world?) That being said, it would make my day to know that I was able to help another child succeed in their life. Equally important, one of my reasons a college education is so important to me
When we all work together and understand the differences we are able to celebrate the achievements and success made. We can all learn from each other and that seems to be the lesson that has to be taught before we can make changes to a system already put into place. In summary, a black-focused school is a good idea as an extra-curricular pursuit, i.e. Saturday mornings served by good role models (like many other ethnic and cultural groups have had for years). I think a mainstream black-focused school is a bad idea.
Everything I do is part of me becoming or trying to become successful. I have learned to appreciate all the good things in my life. I there has been times were we have struggled to put food on the table, and that is the reason I decided to go back to school and get a degree, and to me getting a degree is my way of succeeding. Success does not mean being extremely wealthy, to be it‘s being stable and enjoying what life you have. I have came this far in the process of success because I have had the love and support of my family and friends.
This system, along with an intrinsic motivation to do well, has always encouraged me to do my best in school and do whatever I could to learn more and keep my grades high, resulting in me being a better student, learning more study skills, and getting higher grades than I might have otherwise. I have noticed, however, that the conditioning was more effective before college. Now that I am living away from my parents and do not know many of my professors personally, I do not have the immediate day-to-day rewards or punishments. The effects persisted strongly in my first few months of college, but then slowly declined. I still work hard and get good grades, but there is less of a motivation to study constantly and I often find myself not using my free time as efficiently as I would have at home.
Instead of playing on the varsity team, I played for the Frosh-Soph team and made team captain as well. While on the team, I made new friends and got closer to my coach. My coach helped me cope with my family issues I was facing. She pushed me harder both mentally and physically. With her help, I got better in the sport and helped us win 7 out of our 16 season games.
