Reflection and evidence based practice

This assignment will be based on the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) (2010) scenario “Call me Joe”. The aim of this assignment is to understand the importance of reflection and evidence based practice within nursing. Reflective practice is an important tool in order to develop nursing skills and to help make sense of clinical situations. Consequently this will improve nursing care (Jasper, 2006). This assignment will be based on the structured reflection model What? So what? and Now what? by Driscoll and Teh (2001).
