The learning curve will present challenges in that, employees will maintain the need to refer to the old system to proceed with business as usual. Possible struggles presented by the learning-curve are expected from several employees. Some will adjust more than others, but the main challenge is in the adaptation or orientation phase. Technologically, since the system is equipped with back up software, it should eventually eliminate the need for hard copy records and files. This will save time in the long run, which should encourage most employees despite their initial frustration with the management system change.
When being diagnosed at a young age, they may also feel a sense of loss, as what they now are unable to achieve in the future, such as travel after retirement. On the other hand it may come as a sense of relief that now they know what they are dealing with, they will be able to crack on and learn to live with
Critically compare the value of ageing theories to individuals in differing health and social care settings The activity theory is about being active, therefore continuing to participate in physical, social, cultural and civic affairs. This theory states that even though older people retire they can still remain active, it slows down the process of ageing therefore an individual still has the physical ability as they age. The social disengagement theory is being withdrawn of less involved with people such as families and friends or withdrawn from activities due to ill health or depressed social opportunities. This theory states that as individuals age they become less involved in social activities and this is a natural part of ageing. Both
As people get older they lose independence, they become less mobile and aren’t able to do everything for themselves any more. It is important to ensure that they keep as active as they can to ensure they keep their independence for longer. Carers can help this process by offering activities that are enjoyable, safe and have minimal risks. This is important because it helps people enjoy the things that they are able to do, rather than offering them something they will struggle to do with the possibility of injuring themselves. They will also enjoy things that can keep their brains active, such as crosswords, paintings and colouring, keeping their hand eye coordination strong.
While my Values and Beliefs are important to me I appreciate that not everyone values the same qualities. While it has not been an issue in my current position I could say that I may have less empathy or patience for people who are more work shy or don't share my values. As a professional it is important that I don't allow my beliefs and Values to place a strain on relationships with colleagues and families. Experiences My experience comes with age as well as looking after my own two children, my nieces and nephews. Coming from a large family of eleven siblings some younger and some older we all have to look after each other at one time or another, I’ve learnt to care for others, give guidance and protection when needed, empathise with others when in distress, agree and disagree to voice my opinion, to give advise when needed, to support and to be a good role model.
I fear that if I cannot assist in the continuance of Benjamin succeeding within his mainstream school, this will devastate me. I also feel that I may have the potential to get short with those whom I am seeking change from if my demands are not met. This is because I have seen Benjamin grow up and as an advocate it makes me proud to know that he is excelling because of not only his hard work, but also mine as well. Conclusion Acting as someone’s advocate can bring much stress and persuasive negotiating, but will be worth the hard work in the end. There will be times when it seems that there may be no answer in sight.
While many learned professors have abandoned hope of ever discovering the truth behind micheal jackson, I for one feel that it is still a worthy cause for examination. At first glance micheal jackson may seem unenchanting, however its study is a necessity for any one wishing to intellectually advance beyond their childhood. Indispensable to homosapians today, it is impossible to overestimate its impact on modern thought. Often it is seen as both a help and a hinderence to the upper echelons of progressive service sector organisations, who form the last great hope for our civilzation. Keeping all of this in mind, in this essay I will examine the major issues.
Usually even today, civil law enforcement agencies recruit older candidates because many facets of their job require them to have a basic understanding of human behaviors and a certain level of initiative that is normally not a major requirement in the military because you fall in a rank structure that has much more control over your actions. Not to say that the military is a complete dictatorship but there are many more buffers in place to ensure proper productivity of the service member with minimal planning on the on who is following orders. In the civilian sector there are a wide range of variables that it is better to have someone with a little more
In many instances both partners want to be able to manage by themselves, even when they are elderly or frail, but caring for someone is a huge emotional and physical burden. If you are caring for someone at home, sharing some of that burden and having a proper break from it enables you to carry on without crisis. Your partner may not fully realise how you feel unless you tell him, so this could be the important first step towards another change in your lives
They have assignments to worry about, and they are supposed to be able to enjoy the time the have to socialize and be young. Mcjobs may only be holding teenagers back and dimming what their future holds for them, instead of preparing students for what lies ahead they’re focusing too
