He looks back on the I and II Samuel and Psalms to find his evidence. He refers to how 1 and 2 Samuel are the history, murders, the lies, the adultery, and everything that had happened with David. Yancy however, uses the Pslams. The Psalms really show how faithful David was to the Lord. They show that he was thanking the Lord for all of his good blessings and how God is above all.
Critique Stephen Andrew’s article was written to discuss the arguments for inerrancy of the Bible. Mr. Andrew’s presuppositions are that God exists and He inspired the Bible. He also stated that he is sympathetic to inerrancy. His thesis was somewhat convincing as I do not believe there will ever be indisputable proof. Mr. Andrew made a good point in regard to the epistemological argument and how one error does not mean there are others, but the one error could open the Bible up to question what is true.
The film “Praying with Lior” produced and directed by Ilana Trachtman is the story of a young Jewish boy with Down’s Syndrome who is approaching his Bar Mitzva. This film caught my eye because I too have a special needs child and often struggle with how much he understands about having a relationship with a higher power. What struck me most about this story was how joyful both Lior and his community seemed to be in their faith. The acceptance and understanding that surrounds him seemed to be a wonderful example of living faith. In our studies I found it interesting that the Jewish faith does encourage living the religion in daily life.
This depicts the covenant that God made with Abram and Sarai and because He is a true God, Abraham and Sarah produced many generations of descendants, despite their old age. God shows Christians that He is the truth in John 14:6. Jesus says, “I am the way and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except through me.” This shows Christians that Jesus Christ is the truth and that He will save them. The Christian God is also special because He forgives sins.
He states, “all are equal, all are free, and all deserve a chance to pursue their full measure of happiness.” Here he appeals to ethos by showing what he feels everyone, and shows that he cares about every ones happiness and freedom. This then gives him respect and also is persuading the audience that this man understands and respects each one of us. The use of pathos, the emotional connection to the audience, gave a sense of feel and transported the message and meaning to the audience. Everyone was touched in one way or another. Whether they recalled some of the founding fathers, or the heroes that fought for America, or they connected

Dr. Johnson give fair treatment to each style, and he not only offers a variety of approached for Christians to consider using, but he also does not promote one style as superior to another. No one style of evangelism is better than another, it takes all of them to relate fully to the divers population that lives within our world today (Johnson, J, 2009). The Word centered continuum (like the way of the Master)/Works Continuum (like incarnation evangelism) is looked at for all the different evangelism styles by Dr. Johnson. Dr. Johnson's approach shows how people's personality’s impacts, or should impact their evangelistic approaches. The six styles that he covers in the book are: Assertive, Analytical, Storytelling, Relational,
Both were sent to comfort people. Beowulf is a hero in the story he was known as their “… prince of goodness” (pg. 44, ln 676). Jesus is a hero to those of the Christian faith. For example, Jesus is also known to Christians as the Prince of Peace and wonderful counselor.

Think about, treat, and speak to others on a daily basis? When I speak to others I speak with love, God wants us to love one another and make it our most noticeable trait, to bring glory to the Lord, when speaking to others they must get the impression that I am a follower of Christ and that I live for Him. God is happiest when we allow ourselves to Love, follow his commands and spread His word. John
