Tara Witchcraft Vs. Voodoo Running through the dark woods. That is all I remember from last night; running, and knowing that someone, something, was chasing after me. It had the body of a man, but the head of an ugly bull. The Supreme said it was called a Minotaur, and the voodoo freaks sent it to kill me. I’m a witch, but not just any witch. I’m the next Supreme. That’s like the president of this boring country we have to hide in. Back in the day, they use to burn us, but we have become smarter, grown stronger in numbers. They can’t find us anymore. Tonight was going to change everything. She knew it. She felt satisfied when she sent the Minotaur off to kill the Supreme witch in training, but felt a sense of longing at the stroke of midnight. That’s probably when the magic stops working, she thought, and did not worry about it any longer. When the kids stopped knocking on her door for candy she did not have, she started preparing the ritual. The leader heard a knock on her door and went to open it, only to find a poorly wrapped big box with no return address. She knew her new herbs would not come until next month, so she was curious. The box was heavy, and took a while to lug in. It had this awful smell like rotting flesh so the leader suddenly got worried. Finally opening the box, she stood for a while just staring at the petrifying mess before her. Then she screamed, but only a second before she got angry and threw things around the room. This was not what she wanted. This was not how it was suppose to go. The voodoo leader sat down and started chanting, dissecting a snake that had poison all through it. She would not let her tribe lose out of weakness. She cursed the witches’ house, only thinking of that delivered box, and how the head of her beautifully created Minotaur was lying there; it’s eyes still
