Explain why or why not. I think there are many reasons a person will laugh at a joke that will put down other people. One such reason is immaturity. Having worked with teenagers I think that this is their favorite way to joke around. I think it makes them feel better about themselves.
Although both Preston Sturges and Frank Capra use imagery and comedy to deliver messages in their respective movies, Capra’s ability to express his ideas in Mr. Smith Goes to Washington regarding perseverance conveys a much more poignant message, despite Sturges’ more recognizable views about smiling through the pain in his movie, Sullivan’s Travels. The comedic elements of Mr. Smith Goes to Washington and Sullivan’s Travels add to the theme of each movie, subtly giving away major plot points. Both movies draw the audience in with the use of farce, such as when Sturges has Sullivan and his companion pushing each
I enjoyed the casting choices because the actors and scenery joined to convey a part of the movies theme. It discussed issues that were amenable. As stated in our text by Edward G. Robinson, “an audience identifies with the actors of flesh and blood and heartbeat, as no reader or beholder can identify with even the most artful paragraphs in books or the most inspiring paintings. There, says the watcher, but for some small difference in time or costume or inflections or gait, go I …. And so, the actor becomes a catalyst; he or she brings ignition that spark in every human being that longs for the miracle of transformation”.
The media not only distracts society from reality, but also provides temporary pleasure; for example, television instantly fulfills the wish for relaxation. If people have the self-control to sample television in small doses, it can be relaxing without being harmful. However, when television is integrated into the daily routine and becomes "necessary," people rely on it for artificial happiness. Depending on entertainment for pleasure is detrimental to health and mind. For some people, entertainment yields greater joys than physical activity does.
Hitch was a funny movie that can be described as a comedy but also as a chic flick. This movie was hilarious and had a lot of different events that would grab attention an audiences’ attention. This movie showed various relationships and how well they were established. It also showed how effective communication can be if you know and learn how to communicate with your mate. I selected this film and will identify an interpersonal conflict that was not handled effectively.
300 might not be historically accurate, but a lot of special effects were added to this movie in purpose of adding a flavor to the screen and to keep the viewers of the movie entertained. The fight scenes are far from what you may call “historically accurate,” but that was Zack Snyder’s intention. 300 This movie will always be remembered, 300 is always going to have an important role in the history of cinematography right next to movies like Casablanca. I absolutely love the movie 300, a lot of film schools take advantage of the great methods that were used to make this movie and use them to teach their students about films. You can count on film schools using 300 as a means to teach film students for many years to come.
His sole purpose was to share his views and life with others but mainly wanted to inform people of the recent movies he has watched and recent books he has read. Although he has not yet recently added any new information, may be due to his busy life after marriage in 2006, he had a good run from 1994 – 2007. His website of film noir is quite interesting. It can catch the eye of many from elderly ages to newly young film lovers
For those of us that seek adventure, TV shows offer programs that vary from actors to themes to genres and have one of two purposes: to entertain or to inform. While informative shows are regularly watched, most of television viewers prefer entertaining shows. Comedies are the most familiar TV shows watched and
In order for a sitcom to be great, it should be re-watchable. Seinfeld has a number of inside jokes including catch phrases and character flaws which are repeated throughout the episodes. The inside jokes are generally only picked up by dedicated viewers who realise that they’re funny, hence they are necessary in re-watchability. Another factor in a great sitcom is chemistry among the characters. The characters of Seinfeld have such great chemistry that we love to watch them, and feel like a part of it.
Who knows what could happen? The second lies in with the first. Try to include both their friends and your friends in one big group and go bowling or to a movie. That way everyone could get to know each other, and while you are having fun, others could see you and realize that you are having just as much fun with them as with your close
