They still looked up to her for advice because that’s their role model still and it doesn’t affect them. She made that mistake so why put greater limitations on role models if the mistakes don’t affect the achievements. Role models are looked up to for success not mistakes. They are still regular people who shouldn’t be expected to behave any differently than others. People doing good things and getting looked up to for them doesn’t change the fact that they are still human.
On the other hand, realism means "the inclination towards literal truth and pragmatism" (ibid). It also means to accept life the way it is, and favour the practical method of dealing with it. This too seems to be a good trait on the outside, but it has some flaws. To only aim for average cuts short the potential of humanity. Just because humanity isn't perfect does not mean it cannot reach excellent every now and then.
People define common sense as the true, blatant facts of everyday life; In reality through most of these facts are just thought to be true. Common sense is merely assumed information; many ideas that people, as a whole, believe to be true have been proven false when placed under the sociological eye. One example is the idea that the higher percentage of alcoholics in a population with a greater number of citizens who consume alcohol. This has been proven false by sociologists who state that many cultures that have higher consumption of alcohol have lower rates of alcoholism. This could be due to many reasons, such as the fact that when people grow up with a certain substance that is readily available, they are less likely to abuse the substance later in life.
The ones with characteristics leaning less towards extraordinary abilities and more towards things like passion, strong morals, and wisdom or insightfulness. Living in a place where world-wide disinterest is a growing epidemic, finding someone to look up to that has actual passion for the things in their life is a rare occurrence, but a lovely one no less. To have passion about the things and people and ideas in your life is vital for those looking to do more than just survive. If a person is passionate about their life in general then they get things done the way they want, who could deny admiring that? Good people with strong morals are becoming harder and harder to come across these days, so of course most sane people would cherish and admire those with this characteristic.
Integrity, consistency and commitment in the face of adversity are also qualities in leaders. Many of these qualities like charisma and personality are often inborn. However other qualities, that are associated with leadership, are not necessarily linked to personality. They are more in the nature of skills that can be learnt. The ability to persuade and convince others to accept one's argument or reasoning is such a skill, even though that some people are more gifted at it than others.
It was very powerful for them and it was Lenin's idea. This meant that he succeeded in getting the support from the disillusioned soldiers which meant they did not have to worry about the army which was important as they would not have to fight. Another use for it was making the other parties look weaker as they had all co-operated meaning there was less opposition. It was Lenin who gave the order for the revolution to begin. Someone else could have done this so in the grand scheme of things it is not very significant.
I was really scared; I didn’t want her to get mad at me because she was a really good friend. So one day I just faced her and tell her the truth, she took it very well, she didn’t get angry or anything. So that teaches me that is a million times better to affront the problems at the beginning because avoiding it won’t solve it.
Most of us stand with their legs on both sides. But I still believe goodness will get its reward and evil will not get away from punishment.
In fact, he does have gratitude to Mrs. Jones for not calling the police. He also has gratitude to her for showing him love and care that a mother figure could give. Moreover, he felt appreciation to Mrs. Jones for giving him a chance to change. As Roger says in the story, “He did not trust the woman not to trust him. And he did not want to be mistrusted now.” I think,
If I think I will lose, I positively will. So, I think believing in myself will be the most basic thing for me to get to success. Each person has a different character and strengths, and they also have their own characteristic. For example, you may not be as beautiful as another person, but you may be smarter than that person. For that reason, I’m always trying to stop negative thinking.
