Who is More Evil: Macbeth vs. Lady Macbeth?
Are woman more evil than man? I say yes, because most of the women have this power in them. Most of them use to manipulate their husband. Let’s take the example of Adam and Eve, not only that she ate the apple first; but she also convinced Adam to eat the apple. The Bible says that “Money is the root of all problems.” (Timothy 6:10). It is very hard to find a woman when you are poor; in other words you need money to get a woman and money is the root of all problems, as the bible says. I will the conclusion in your hand. “He’s here in double trust: / First, as I am his kinsman and his subject, / Strong both against the deed; then, as his host, / Who should against his murderer shut the door, / Not bear the knife myself.” (1.7.13-17). Macbeth came up with many reasons on why he should not assassinate King Duncan. One of them was that Duncan was in his house as a guess, and as a host Macbeth is supposed to protect him against his murderer, instead of killing him himself. “We will proceed no further in this business. / He hath honored me of late…” (1.7.35-36). Macbeth decided not to kill Duncan before he was force by his evil wife to commit the crime. “Was the hope drunk… from this time / Such I account thy love.” (1.7.40-45). Lady Macbeth talks about Macbeth’s ambition of being king in drinking terms. She is basically saying that was Macbeth drunk when he first agreed they were going to kill Duncan and take the throne. She also said that Macbeth was afraid and that he talked fearlessly when the time was not right to operate “Nor time nor place / Did then adhere, and yet you would make both. / They have made themselves, and that their fitness now / Does unmake you.”
