He just escaped from Iran last year, and told in a 60 Minutes interview with Anderson Cooper he recounted what he had to go through to escape and survive. Ahmad Batebi never intended to be famous. Later in the film Andy takes a young prisoner named Tommy under his wing and finds that Tommy’s old inmate was the real murderer. Andy explains it all to the Warden and he finds it to be a very thrilling fictional story that Tommy cultivated to entertain Andy. Andy had a secretive plan up his sleeve to save him from all those years of misery and gets revenge on the Warden for being such a hypocrite and “obtuse”. As we watch this

The story is narrated in third person about a young man, a protagonist poor college student named Rodion Romanovitch Roskolnikov. Roskolnikov suffered from a mental illness. This is told to the reader in the scanza “young men had fallen into a state of nervous depression akin to hypochondria.”(Crime and Punishment) This analysis will be focused on the following characters: Roskolnikov, Alyona Ivanovna, Marmeladov, and Sonya. Roskolnikov murders a pawnbroker named, Alyona Ivanovna, who he, and many people in the town, felt preyed on the poor and less fortune. This belief helps Roskolnikov justify his behavior for eliminating her from society.
In two sequences in the film it provides this powerful message. First, after serving a fifty year sentence, an inmate named Brooks receives his parole papers. When he is released, Brooks suffers a breakdown and almost kills a fellow prisoner in order to stay in prison. When he finally gets released he is unable to cope with modern life. His inability to adapt to life outside the prison walls created a man that was unskilled, untrained, and unprepared, without hope to carry on.

That negligence, and laziness, led them to asking the emperor to take away the breastplates and next the helmets. So when they went out and fought the Goths they had no protection whatsoever from the head to the chest, and were often beaten by archers. No one tried to replace the breastplates and the helmets.

“The Shawshank Redemption” is a 1994 drama film based on the novel “Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption” by American Author Stephen King. It tells the story of Andy Dufresne a banker who spends nearly two decades in prison for the murder of his wife. During his time in Shawshank correctional facility Dufresne, portrayed by Tim Robbins, harbours the ambition to escape and start a new life for himself. He achieves this through his intelligence and people skills to eventually escape. A good example of Andy’s cunning of his surroundings is when he and some of his fellow inmates are working on the roof and he overhears one of the guards financial problems.
