NW Atlanta, GA 30318 Annie.Bidgood@gmail.com Delta Consulting: Human Resources Department 1000 Northside Dr. Atlanta, GA 30332 25 October 2010 Dear Sir or Madam, I am currently a student at North Atlanta High School. I would like to express my interest in the part-time position of Office Assistant at Delta Consulting. Last summer, I worked as an office assistant at Arizona Jeans Company. As an office assistant, I helped with general computer tasks such as typing letters for employees. I also helped with filing paperwork and distributing mail to employees within the office. My experience with Arizona Jeans Company taught me the importance of being a reliable employee and meeting deadlines on time. I believe that the combination of my computer software abilities, excellent time management skills, and prior office assistant experience would allow me to excel as an employee at Delta Consulting. Enclosed is my resume for your review. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Annie Bidgood Listening: A Job Interview Listen to the dialog between Annie and the Director of Human Resources for Delta Consulting and then answer the following…show more content…

How do you like them apples? Angela: Wow. I was wrong. You are smarter than I thought. I am eating humble pie. Steve: Oh, don’t feel bad. I studied a lot. If you work hard, I’m sure you’ll do well, too. Angela: Mr. Johnson is such a hard teacher! Though I feel like I need to reinvent the wheel in order to get a good grade. Steve: Oh, it isn’t that bad. Just work hard, and you will get a good grade. Angela: You’re right. Oh, that was the bell. We better get to class. See you later. Steve: Take it easy. Vocabulary!
