Brief summary Humans on daily basis need required amount of vitamins to perform normal bodily functions. Most of the vitamins we get is from food as the main source. Due to our busy lifestyles we don’t get to consume all kinds of vegetables and fruits to provide the necessary dose of vitamins for the body every day. So that is when vitamin supplements come into picture and help to supply the vitamins. This paper discusses how all the vitamins play a major role in biochemical process of the body and maintains the good condition of the body. Course relation of the article This article relates to the science of biology as vitamins play key role in the biology of the human body. Vitamins act as catalyst in releasing hormones and maintaining normal neural function. Vitamins help in preventing dementia, Alzheimer’s diseases. Vitamin C helps body to keep immune system to work its optimum. Beta Carotene and lutein assist to maintain good vision as person gets older. Vitamin B helps lowering stress and Vitamin E provides heart healthy benefits. Overall this article concentrates on the benefits of the vitamins in daily life. The current article does not discuss on the physical examples of the vitamin deficiency. Importance of the article The main reason this article caught my attention is few years earlier I was a person not believed in taking vitamin supplements and I used read lot of these issues on the magazines and health sections of the internet articles. Finally I wanted give a try and from then I started feeling the difference. I started feeling more active, I can concentrate more on my work and studies. Now I don’t get tired while I workout in gym.
