Being raised in Arkansas, how can you not love the Hogs? Several family members, including my Mom, are alums at the U of A. Through the years, I have attended several sporting events, gatherings and basketball camps, so I have familiarized myself with the campus and I am truly excited about being a Razorback! I am a Senior at Greenwood High School, where I have been an Honor Roll student since my freshman year, a member of the Beta Club, National Honor Society, Partners Club, Spanish Club, FCCLA and FBLA. I received the Mayors essay award in the 9th grade, and got to visit the capital to meet our governor.
Students attending Davidson College, North Carolina later that year created “Beta”, the second chapter chartered, as well. Three other chapters were also created over the following 5 years. After the beginning chapters had adapted, the first inter-chapter convention was held in 1874 in Richmond Virginia. (G&G) This would mark the first time that all the chapters of Pi Kappa Alpha had joined together to discuss the workings of their fraternity and to reflect off each other’s experiences to further revise the fraternity. This precedential event preceded a gathering of Pike chapters who come together yearly under the name, “Pike University”, to share and discuss fraternity matters.

Every year at the ULM Activity Center, the Muscle Walk is held to honor children and adults with MDA and to raise funds to help the MDA research and to provide vital services to families affected by MD diseases. The MDA Walk compromises a series of fun, and is a non-competitive local walk held across country and is one of the largest events of its kind in the United States. There are more than 160 walks throughout the nation. At the MDA Walk, local kids in the surrounding areas come together to support the cause. While at the muscle walk, there are contest held for the participant with the biggest team, the best t-shirt and other things.

Square dancing was then brought to numerous college and university campuses at Mr. Ford's expense. We believe that applying the open source philosophy to our patents will strengthen rather than diminish Tesla’s position in this regard.” (Tesla Motors) After reading this article, I honestly am blown away by the amount of foresight and bravery that Tesla is demonstrating in order to do what they think will better everyone, not just themselves. It is the finest act of unselfishness in a long time. Ironically, this has a lot of similarity to the Patagonia case. Tesla is looking to better everyone rather than solely focusing on themselves.
You could say that was the start of his career as a composer. Menken attended Rochelle High School in his home town and after graduation went to Pre-med school to become a dentist. Lucky for us he later changed his major to music. After college Alen attended the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop in New York where he worked at local clubs writing jingles and songs as an accompanist. Alen Menken got his first big break in January of 1979 with Howard Ashman in the Off-Broadway production “God Bless you, Mr. Rosewater.” Three years later he received a Drama Desk Award nomination for Outstanding Music in his Off-Broadway Production “Little Shop of Horrors” and from that in January of 1987 Menken was given his first Oscar nomination for a song with in it called “Mean Green Mother from Outer Space.” In 1990 Menken was nominated for three Oscar nominations and three Golden Globe Nominations and went on to win two of each for his work in the Walt Disney production “The Little Mermaid”.
But my main goal is to broaden my horizon beyond the technical world, unlock career aspirations otherwise blocked, and enhance problem-solving and decision-making skills which lead me to do some excellent research base work in future. I am writing this statement in support of my application to study towards the Master of Health Care Administration degree at Worcester State University (WSU). Here the question is why am I pursuing my graduate degree in HCA/Public Health while I did my graduation/ under graduation from Statistics? My answer is, I want to expand my career level in a broad way by opening some more windows and I believe, the public health will be a good choice for one of them. A Healthcare Administration Degree can be utilized in just about any healthcare related occupation, ranging from hospital CEO, to health insurance manager(who need experience of statistics), to public health official(need statistics), to management consultant, health care analysis(need statistics) and more.
By obtaining a Bachelor’s of Applied Science degree in Supervision and Management I want to enhance the current skills that I have which intern will enhance my career. Although I am intelligent the curriculum for this program of study will help me sharpen my conceptual skills, it will help me mold myself from a talker and conversationalist to a communicator, and it will be the vehicle for me to achieve high level management, which in any organization you must be able to mange effectively and efficiently and understand every aspect of the business. A Bachelor’s of Applied Science degree in Supervision and Management will help me enhance my career, but this degree will also enhance my quality of life, my experience and knowledge as well. In my current position at the company I work for is upwardly mobile. I was promoted fairly quickly and did this on my current abilities.
