When the family returned to Philadelphia in 1991, Bryant joined the Lower Merion high school basketball team, leading it to the state championships four years in a row. When Joe Bryant's professional career ended in 1991, the family returned to the United States and settled in a comfortable home on the Main Line, the most prestigious of Philadelphia's suburban areas. Basketball helped bridge the gap between Bryant and his classmates at Lower Merion High. Tall and skilled, Bryant quickly became a starter for the varsity team and just as quickly began to make a name for himself in greater Philadelphia. Not surprisingly, Bryant was offered scholarships to almost every major college and university in the country.

Jordan was the team, meaning that he was always way above everyone else on his team in points. LeBron James is the best player in the NBA currently. LeBron has a few statistics going in his favor like assists and rebounds. So unlike Jordan, he has more of an ability to keep play going and be less of a “ball hog”. He also has the three-point percentage lead (32.9%) which is important because three pointers are a lot bigger part of the game now than they were when MJ played.
Even though our team was full of confidence and basketball consciousness, we still practiced a lot, and were well prepared for every game. Our team consisted of nice dribbler, outstanding rebounder, quick attacks player, an excellent 3 point shooter and a great isolation player. On the other hand, we did realize that there are many talented people who are not successful. No matter how smart or gifted you are, you need to work at it. We trained everyday after class for dribbling, passing, shooting, blocking, screening, free throwing.
Duhaime analyzes the two teams and compares the statistics. When Kobe Bryant stated that his team was “younger”, Duhaime explained that there were only four players on the Dream Team that were 30 years or older. The rest of the team were still playing in their “prime”. Duhaime also mentions that the 1992 Dream Team not only won a total of eleven MVP awards, but won, twenty-three NBA titles, five NCAA titles, and were involved in 105 All Star games. Where as the 2012 team, won four MVP awards, seven NBA titles and were included in 43 All Star games.
