For this assignment the fictitious business that I created is MissMee, a company which specializes in computer graphics hardware. Established in 2009, MissMee found entry into an oligopolistic market with only two competitors in the industry. Although start-up costs were high, MissMee hoped to have a high return on investment as a result of their powerful graphics cards which were well suited for gaming, photography, and video production.

It introduced the iPod as a "cool" way to download and listen to music. However, companies should never stop innovating. Small businesses have become successful against bigger competitors when they are nimble and relentlessly innovative. For example, Google was able to define and succeed with a new computing paradigm even though they were up against formidable opponents. Quality Quality means reliability and performance.
Large businesses are willing to pay dearly for operating systems that support dozens of processors and thousands of users, but a small business would be loathe to pay the same price when all they want is to run a small volume web server. By creating multiple versions with different feature sets, Microsoft is able to maximize their profits by gaining both types of customers. 2. What are the new features or enhancements made to Windows Server 2008? How is Windows Server 2008 different from Windows Server 2003?

Siri is a recent product offering which further enhances Apple’s competitive advantage. Apple describes Siri as “the intelligent personal assistant that helps you get things done just by asking” (Apple, 2012).
Statement of Purpose Mechanical engineering is one of the most versatile technical branches due to the fact that the overall knowledge which can be developed by studying the concepts has no bounds. A student who has completed Mechanical Engineering is well versed in a number of technologies used in the manufacturing sector and has the best practical know how among all. The concepts which have been around since a long time and will surely be around in the future as well, give him the cutting edge against the competition. I wish to apply for the Master’s course in Mechanical Engineering so as to be able to tap into this vast resource of information and gain knowledge which I can then apply in my career. My passion of cars, aero planes and machines in general has been one of the biggest influences in me choosing this career as my future path.
