Conclusion Thesis Tikopia is an island in the south pacific part of the Solomon Islands. It is the southern most island in the Solomon group of islands. The environment is tropical the island is a high volcano surrounded by shallow coral reef. This makes fishing plentiful and the tropical environment allows for natural vegetation. The Tikopian culture is very unique the kinship, social organization, gender relations, beliefs and values. This culture has changed in many ways and continues to change making this culture very unique. Tikopia is a Chiefdom in which there are chiefs of the clan based on their kinship.
