The Wallingford Bowling Center is facing major problems when it comes to the annually profit sharing pool. The twelve investors are forced to split an overall net income of $44,000. If you do the math, each person is taking home a total of $3,666 estimated income for just one year. The expenses to run the bowling center are considerable at $1,466,000 per year. The Wallingford Bowling Center is only operating at 100% capacity of 30% for its available hours in a week. Their busy nights include Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday between 6pm and midnight. These are key hours for the operating bowling center mainly because there are two men’s leagues bowling at these times. They create revenue by running and maintaining a full service bar, a small restaurant, and a game room that has games such as pool, video games, and pinball. So while the league is taking place, people will generally spend money during these hours creating additional revenue. The total sales for one year is $1,844,000. They also are busy somewhat during the hours of Friday night, Saturday night and Saturday mornings. Their Saturday mornings consist of a kid’s league and they also have four Ladies leagues on Monday and Wednesday afternoons.
