Jason Tierro, an inventory Jason Tierro, an inventory clerk at Lexmar Company, is responsible for taking a physical count of the goods on hand at the end of the year. He has been performing this duty for several years. This year, Jason was very busy due to a shortage of personnel at the company, so he decided to just estimate the amount of ending inventory instead of doing an accurate count. He reasoned that he could come very close to the true amount because of his past experience working with inventory. Besides, he was sure that the sophisticated computer program that Lexmar had just invested in kept an accurate record of inventory on hand.
Did Robert E. Lee Lose the Civil War for the South? Abstract Most history books portray Robert E. Lee as the greatest general of the American Civil War, acknowledging his brilliance as the reason that the South lasted four years against a vastly superior Union force. The reality was that Lee’s strategy and tactics actually was the reason that the South lost what was a “winnable” conflict. Where the South needed a tie, Lee went for the win and therefore was a major reason the South lost. This paper will evaluate Lee’s military strategic capability in the context of the war and his battlefield leadership, demonstrating how his aggressive “Virginia first” strategy directly contributed to the Confederate loss.

Shortages in this area continued to plague the division throughout its time in New York (September 20, 1917 page
The Things They Carried The book The Things They Carried by Tim O’Brien is about a Vietnam War veteran who explains the life changing events that the members of Alpha Company as well as himself had experienced and witnessed before, during and after the Vietnam War and how these gruesome memories had impacted the lives of these soldiers. Even though during the civil war, many medical advancements were being made, they were not being made quick enough to save approximately 400,000 soldiers who died from disease and infection. The main reason why many soldiers didn’t know of disease and infections was because the doctors assigned to their camps didn’t know of them. Before the Civil war, doctors were not trained for the conditions they would later face during the war. Many doctors served as apprentices rather than going to medical school and getting a formal education.
