When odyseus disguises himself as a beggar while he is home again shows much intelligence. This is so because his once ruled land with all his people loving him is now filled with enemies. Also his return might be too sudden that people might not believe him, so he must prove in a way that it is truly him. This is proven in the The Odyssey when the epic says, “Because his home is full of enemies, she advises him to proceed disguised as a beggar” This is found in The Odyssey Page 32 Lines 2-3. This quote shows that Odyseus uses his intelligence to protect himself from his enemies, and to think of a way to convince penelope that it is him, and not anyone fake.

Lennie is viewed by s few characters in the novel and it affects their characterization. George is portrayed as a family member to Lennie. They travel everywhere together. Sometimes, George can be quite mean to Lennie, which makes him like a brother. He loves him even though he has a mental disbility ,but at other times George is very mean to Lennie.
Although constant evil swirls around Bruno, he is able to hang on to his innocence, which shields him from the knowledge of the situation he is in, but ultimately leads to his and Shmuel’s downfall. Bruno’s innocence becomes quite apparent throughout the course of the novel. He portrays this childish innocence through his lack of understanding on many of the changes that have been happening in his life. Bruno portrays this quite clearly by asking his father : "Did you do something bad in work? I know that everyone says you're an important man and that the Fury has big things in mind for you, but he'd hardly send you to a place like this if you hadn't done something that he wanted to punish you for."
It takes courage to go out in front of people and do something you know you won't succeed in right away. Homer Hickam had so much courage to try and fail again and again. That's what made him prevail in the end, when he won the scholarship. He also had courage when he stood up to his father, and when he said he didn't want to work in the mine. Homer knew that his father, John would get angry with him if he stood up to him, but he still had the courage to do that.

It was my past of unatoned sins." (1). Recalling of his past, Amir blamed himself as a coward, who had betrayed his childhood friend, Hassan. By taking the excuse what the most important thing to him is Baba's love, Amir consoled himself that Hassan was just a price which he needed to pay for it, because "Nothing was free in this world"
The actions of both Baba and Amir are destructive but ultimately, the reader sees the good in Amir whereas Baba fails to atone. Thus Baba’s deeds are shown by Hosseini to be more detrimental to those around him than that of his illegitimate son. Kite runner highlights how Baba’s choices are not only damaging towards the people around him, but to Afghanistan as a whole. Baba presents himself as a “black and white” man as he lives the moral code that “there is only one sin….theft”. At the start, Baba is viewed by the community as a patriarch, however as the novel unfolds, the reader sees the many flaws in his character and the hypocrisy of his philosophy through his interactions with others.
Protecting your children won't do them any good at all if they never learn to live on their own. Since you won't always be there to watch over them, they have to learn to take care of themselves, and you have to have the strength to let go, as painful as that might be. The father in The Road did everything he could for his son, selflessly and valiantly in the face of horrible circumstances, and by the end of the story has prepared his son, as well as he could, for whatever future awaits him. And that is what every father, even those of us in a dramatically more hospitable world than that of the book, should forever strive
