Peepoo Peepoo is a revolutionary invention. It’s an invention which can save lives and help the farmers get their fertilizer. The idea of making the Peepoo came when Anders Wilhemson in 2005 started a 10 year urban development project in Mumbai. While Wilhemson in his 10-year project he remembers a meeting with a group of women living in the slum. These women confronted Wilhemson and told him they had houses with electricity and TVs but they couldn’t take care of their personal hygiene. They did not have water to flush out, the excrements. Anders afterwards assembled a research team to create the Peepoo. Peepoo is a bag made out of biopolymers, which eventually destroys the bag after use. The Peepoo also contains bacteria, which destroys the excrements. The Peepoo has a large project in Kibera slum in Nairobi, Kenya. About 6000 people buy Peepoo every day for about 3 cent and then selling them back for 1 cent to be used as fertilizer. The focus of the Peepoo is to be used on disaster areas, such areas as Pakistan, which suffered a flooding, Haiti, Christchurch and New Zealand, which suffered an earthquake. The Peepoo factories produce up to half a million of Peepoo bags a day. Their aim is to produce for about 150 million each day. The article is written for the low class as the Peepoo is meant for the poor people and people who had been on incidents such as flooding, earthquake etc. There is no rhythm in this article, it is just written in a normal way. The style used is hypotaxis. The text just goes on in a smooth way. It does not have many full stops, which makes it more like parataxis. Example is when you read the text from the start, there is no full stop until you get to the question asked. The tone of the text is serious, optimistic and joyful. At the start of the text it is more like optimistic as we keep reading on until we hear about the confrontation of
