Jack gathered the team and motivated everyone! The team had a new outlook on the game. Jack was running down the field chasing one of the best players on the Wildcats, he was trying his best to get the ball. At midfield he stole the ball and ran the other way, he saw an opening and took the shot, the goalie dove but missed the ball. The game went on and it was a bunch of defense.
One top of each float, there were people wearing colorful masks that were throwing beading and other special goodies at the crowd on the ground. In between floats, dancers and band members were marching the streets playing their instruments and dancing to the beat. At the end of the parade, police officers were riding horses. One of the horses was pooping while he was marching, I remember laughing at
In my opinion, there wasn’t a better seat in the house. As soon as I sat down, Americas Team sprinted out of the locker room, and onto the bright green field. Their jerseys were pure white, almost as white as snow. The fans were beaming, and full of excitement. The electricity in the air was powerful enough to make a grown man cry.
On Friday September 12th I went home for the weekend and attended my high school’s football game in Louisville. I thought it was exciting to go back to my former school as an alumni. I was even more excited about seeing the marching band. I was the captain of the color guard for three years and was anxious to see what the show would consist of this year. I couldn’t wait for the halftime show and wanted to hear what the band would sound like.

Okay, okay enough of the boring stuff let’s get back to the story. It was my fourth birthday party, but little did I know it could have been my last. I wanted nothing more than to spend it at the rodeo, but let me tell you if I knew what was going to happen that night I wish I could have been anywhere besides there. Alright now I got your attention, back to the arena floor. Where from the heel of his boot to the brim of his cowboy hat stood the roughest four foot five inches tall cowboy in east Texas.
Of course, I stood {had to stand} right at the front of the track, clutching on to the rail and leaning over to see the horses prancing in anticipation. “And they’re off!” The announcer gabbled on as the horses sped around the track, each one fighting for the lead. A roar went up from the crowd (pause) but not from me. I watched in horror as the horses were whipped again, again and again as they ran down the home stretch and crossed the finish line. My birthday was Saturday August 8, which was also my first football scrimmage against Cordova High School. The scrimmage had been for three teams, Rosemont, Cordova and Capital, and my teammates and I were the underdogs of the whole thing. When we got to Cordova it seemed as though it was going to be a routine scrimmage, get on the field and kick some butt, but fate had other plans. Our team started off slow in warm ups, taking wrong moves and such, but we started to pull it together after about thirty minutes. When we entered the stadium to play we were a little early so we got some water and started getting each other excited to play.
