The audience will see this when Jack goes missing, and the whole town is worried about his whereabouts. Jack realizes during his time to himself that he wants more in his life and decides that he wishes to incorporate Christmas into Halloween town and has to figure out a way to do so. This want that Jack has is woven all throughout the movie. One place we can see this happening is when Jack is singing in the graveyard about growing weary of hearing screams at Halloween, thus making this a theme in the film, “The Nightmare Before Christmas”. “The Nightmare Before Christmas” is an amazing stop-motion animation film.
In the beginning of the film, Jack grew tired of the same routine and frights every year. He escapes from Halloween town to ponder on his feelings atop a spiral-shaped hill in the graveyard, “Jack’s Lament”. He escapes into a world of Christmas where jeer and joy is everywhere. Spotting Santa Claus and interpreting that Christmas is all about lights, decoration, and presents; Jack returns to Halloween town to try to attempt to indulge Christmas into Halloween town. The Grinch’s Personality The movie, How the Grinch Stole Christmas is a holiday favorite everywhere. It showcases the true meaning of Christmas, being happy and being together. The main character, the Grinch was originally from Whoville but has secluded himself up on the mountain because when he was a child he was mistreated by his peers. He was an angry spiteful who. He now has come into town and to try and ruin Christmas but when little Cindy Lou Who tries to welcome him back in, he goes through a personality change and his heart that was two sizes to small expands to two sizes too big.
In that village, people believe that if a marmot was coming out of ground at that time the spring will be come after 6 weeks at Groundhog Day, every February second, he had to report news it. But in the begging of this movie, he didn’t like his job and is apt to see the negative site, so he go to his hotel room immediately when he arrived this town. The first Groundhog Day, at the morning 6 AM, he had have same experience everyday only him. Because other people didn’t know that situation, he was embarrassed that and get angry to other people. After he talked with some guys, his mind was changed until that time.

Mr Tom and Scrooge (How they change) Mr Tom is a character from the novel ‘Good Night Mr Tom’ and, Scrooge, from ‘A Christmas Carol’. In this essay I will explain how both characters change in a similar way. At the start of the novel tom is impatient with Willie as he says ‘I ent got all day’ which is a harsh welcome because Willie goes in the house for the first time. He is also a bit annoyed when Willie says ‘I can’t go aht wivout me socks’ and he snorted ‘why?’. This shows that tom thinks Willie is weird.

A wish tears a family apart in The Monkey's Paw by WW Jacobs when Mr. White, the main character, develops a sudden desire for more despite warnings. Jacobs argues in The Monkey's Paw that interfering with fate can lead to disastrous consequences using foreshadowing and frightening mood and he also uses irony to show that listening to experienced people should overpower desire. Jacobs uses foreshadowing to prove that trying to change fate can bring disastrous consequences.
