Principles of personal development in adult social care settings 1.1 Reflective practice is a process by which you stop and think about your practice, continually analyse your decision making and relate it to what you do in practice. Critical analysis and evaluation refocuses your thinking on your existing knowledge and helps generate new knowledge and ideas. As a result you may modify your actions, behaviour, treatments and learning needs. You should make time to write down your reflections as this process helps to clarify thoughts and it will also give written evidence to share with others at a later date. 1.2 Reflective practice is very important in improving the quality of the service provided.

I was given a booklet to study on this subject. When the next opportunity arose I was able to utilise and apply my new skills successfully. This essay will explore the significance of IP education and how this will lead to successful IP working. It will focus on personal IP education and from personal practical experience in placements and reflect on how to improve IP collaboration in the future. Finally I will identify a barrier to IP working and what changes could be made to make IP working more effective. Since 2004 it has been a requirement that pre-registration health and social care students in England must receive IP education opportunities. The main objective for this is to guarantee students: “…learn with, from and about each other…to aid collaboration in practice” (CAIPE, 1997).
My name is Cheramie Venzke. I am the director of the early childhood development program that you currently have your child enrolled in. Since your child has been enrolled in our program for a little while now, I figured it would be a good time for me to write you and explain a little more about our program. In addition, I would also like to expand a little bit on what happens when your child is here with us. In advance, I would like to thank you for reading this and I hope that this answers any questions you may have.
