The Holocaust was a tragic time in history that showed the bad side of mankind and how cruel we can be. This took place in the 1930’s and 1940’s. The Holocaust took place in Germany and the leader’s name was Adolf Hitler. There were two different kinds of camps; labor and death. The labor camps were where the people that arrived would work until they were too weak. Then they would go to the death camps which are where the people would die in huge groups. Auschwitz was a very well known death camp. It was located in Poland and you can still visit it today! Many people leave candles lit there because they lost a loved one to the Nazis. This is what the Nazi’s did to an extreme! If the people agreed and did what the Nazi’s wanted them to do, and looked the “perfect” way, they would allow you to live and carry on with their lives. Have you ever been bullied? Nazi’s took bullying, to an extremely deadly level! When you start a rumor, it can hurt someone and sometimes it gets out of hand. This is what happened during the Holocaust. The Nazi’s started a rumor that the Jews were the reason they lost the war, because they (Jews), were an inferior race, according to Adolf Hitler. This is how Hitler started his rumor and plan to get rid of all people that were “inferior” and begin a “Perfect” race. Some-times people make wrong choices by judging others without really knowing them. Here some things you may have heard, then heard the truth afterwards, “That girl is fat!” but you find out she has an eating disorder, or “That boy is so stupid!” but has a learning disorder and studies for hours every…show more content…
The point of this is to think before you do or say something. Everyone has a mind and a right to be treated like a human, one of God’s children. The Nazi’s took away all their dignities and human right to live and exist here on Earth. There is still a lot of hatred in the world that still exists today as it did 72 years ago during the Holocaust. If there was no hate it would be a “Perfect World” as some people say, but unfortunately there will always be hate in the World. But if we just stand around and do nothing but watch it will just get worse. If we act like the people 72 years ago during the Holocaust, it will get worse and go from words to actions. There will be teasing, fighting, hurting, and in one word
