The First Knight may only be a movie but this motion picture’s characters displays a very important code of rules that was actively present during the medieval era. This was the Code of Chivalry, and it was fallowed by all knights of this era. The code stated rules to abide by such as “Live to serve King and Country” and “Never abandon a friend, ally, or noble cause.” Knights respected and honored the Code of Chivalry from birth, just as the Bible is to Christians or the Quran to is to Muslim. There was many codes within The First Knight that helped shape the film and allowed it to become, in some cases, historically accurate. There may have been many but there are three that stood out to me in the viewing of this movie. The three Codes of Chivalry that was present in the move The First Knight was “Never attack an unarmed foe,” “Protect the innocent,” and “Always keep one’s word of honor.”…show more content…
